Statement from the President on Iran

THE WHITE HOUSE

Office of the Press Secretary _______________________________________________________________ For Immediate Release June 20, 2009

Statement from the President on Iran

The Iranian government must understand that the world is watching. We mourn each and every innocent life that is lost. We call on the Iranian government to stop all violent and unjust actions against its own people. The universal rights to assembly and free speech must be respected, and the United States stands with all who seek to exercise those rights.

As I said in Cairo, suppressing ideas never succeeds in making them go away. The Iranian people will ultimately judge the actions of their own government. If the Iranian government seeks the respect of the international community, it must respect the dignity of its own people and govern through consent, not coercion.

Martin Luther King once said - "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." I believe that. The international community believes that. And right now, we are bearing witness to the Iranian peoples’ belief in that truth, and we will continue to bear witness.

"we are bearing witness to the Iranian peoples’ belief in that truth, and we will continue to bear witness"

"I am sitting on my butt watching, and I will continue to sit on my butt watching"

He is a master at empty words.

The NSA could (AND SHOULD) launch a cyberattack against Iran’s internet firewall and bring it down, allowing freedom of information within the country again. We can (and should) also take over Iranian state media and give it to the opposition.

Same way he delivered message about murdered William Long, the day after he made a big fuss about the abortionist. He’s only doing it cause there are hundreds outside the WH protesting. I don’t even believe he had a part in it.

Here is Obama’s dilemma.
He does not want to publicly support protest, freedom and the right to peaceably assemble while he knows that in time,, he may have to do to the American people what this Iranian government is now doing to it’s people.
That is the simple truth to this whole thing.
He does not like the Tea Parties. He does not like people protesting his policies, investigating his crimes, speaking out against his policies on TV or radio. He is fixated on Fox news. Fox News, Rush, talk radio, tea parties and IG’s that investigate his criminal activity are like little flies flying around his face. They are an annoyance. They need to be dealt with,, not encouraged.
I am telling you,, this is the kind of thing he wishes would just go away. Not because it has anything to do with American relations, Israeli relations or American interests. It is a thing that may also define or expose him and his actions at some future point as well.
People protesting in the streets a tyrannical government and the results of a fraudulent election,, and to be forced publicly to side with the protesters who are protesting their government is something he does not want to do. Because his words and actions will be used against him if and when at some future point,, Americans take to the streets protesting him, his policies and the results of a future fraudulent election.

In other words,, Obama would rather not be put in the position of having to give these kind of protesters street cred!

People protesting their governments should be dealt with,, yet here he is on the Eve of expanding his own tyrannical government, seizing private property, destroying the economy, taking over the census, trashing liberty and wealth and shredding our Constitution at every turn,, and now of all things,,, he has to stand up and publicly in front of the whole world and give support a bunch of Iranians taking to the streets protesting a fraudulent election and a corrupt government! He doesn’t need this!! He doesn’t want it!! What now will the world say if and when Americans take to the streets protesting him???? He probably has plans on how to deal with people who engage in massive protests against him,,,, but now he is being forced to publicly condemn those kinds of actions and those kind of people when he’d rather be in the position of condemning the Iranian protesters than to support their actions!

He’s doing nothing. He said “don’t use violence,” and they used violence. I guess he’s just going to have to sit back and sulk about it like you do about my opinion.

I am currently helping by utilizing the internet to open some places up for iranians to use...but i wont elaborate.

Obama has many connections to Hezbollah and through them to the IslamoNazis in Iran. Dr. Rashid Khalid is very close to Bill Ayers and was also close to Obama’s moneyman Rezko.

Obama attended a notorious tribute dinner to Khalid, a former PLO hack, along with Michelle, Ayers and other extreme leftits. Obama and Ayers both allowed money from the Woods Foundation (they were both in charge of that leftist slushfund) to go to the Arab American Action Network which was caught sending weapons and money to the PLO.

Obama is owned by Hezbollah in my opionion, and through them by the Iranian thugs. Obama’s utterly lame response and the unbelievable MSM idiocy (no mention of Hezbollah thugs fighting for the Mullahs in the MSM) shows that when Obama is bought, he stays bought.

Obama received millions in dubious, foreign donations from the middle east and it is sick how he is importing thousands of Hamas, Hezbollah “immigrants” to the US on the taxpayer’s dime.

Was watching CiN or FOX earlier (can't remember which one) and the reporter was interviewing one of the young women of Iranian ancestry who is taking part in the demonstration outside the White House. She was making a great point. She said “We voted for Obama because he said change was important and used his charisma to win over the American voter, now he refuses to use the same communication skills to stand up for change and uphold democratic values in Iran. Looks like the masses are beginning to finally wake up and realize that they elected an empty shirt. This woman is apparently coming to her senses as to what Obama is all about. Unfortunately, it is too late to do anything about it until 2012.

Sounds better than the first try, but overdue. “Present” isn’t an option for a real leader.

If the mullahs don't stop clubbing freedom fighters over the head like baby seals, I will write a very strongly worded letter to the UN!! My constituents the environmentalists will not stand for baby seals being clubbed over the head. Uh, wait, never mind they are just people being uh clubbed over the uh head. Not seals. Uh It's OK. Go ahead.
