“Hope the chaos in Iran isn’t a preview of here.”

Yes, the Iranian protests are hard to watch—on several levels. Mix an unarmed populace, fraudulent election, and a civilian thug “police” force—sound familiar?

I was in Chicago this time last week and in the area I was in around the downtown, I saw one campaign sign in a window and NO ZERO bumperstrips. On the way to and from Chicago, it was the same — lack of ZERO bumperstrips when a few months ago would see them on cars on the Interstate. Saw more Palin without McCain where they had cut him off then I did Obama but then this is Middle America including southern IL.

St. Louis shocked me as well — lack of ZERO bumperstrips. Maybe some folks have decided that voting for a guy to be the first black President when they knew little about him was not such a good idea.

But but Bush fired AG’s illegally so it’s ok that Obama fired IG’s....

At least that is the line the left is using to defend their usurper in office.

While I realize this is not scientific at all - both hubby and I have noticed a major removal of pro-obama bumper stickers from vehicles in our area.

During and after the election they were all over - yesterday hubby and I saw three card with Obama stickers. The tide has turned quickly against him even if polls are slower to show the reality of the situation.

This morning on Meet the Press, Chuck Todd was shamelessly claiming Obama’s Cairo speech inspired the youth to rise against the Mullahs. The media will attempt to pull all the stops to prop up their Messiah.

It will be very telling to see where the MEssiah stands after ABC’s healthcare special.

I wondered how long it was going to be until the administration took credit for this, when in reality they have hid in the corner.

A speech alone does nothing. There has to be the assured support that comes along with that speech that moves people toward action. If the Iranian youth felt like O had their back, then they are more gullible than I thought.

I'm currently living in the land of the education mafia (:

Even without specifying which state that is, you should believe they loved all things bambi...

2010 will be an interetsing election year.

Every election since 1988 has been getting more interesting (and nerve-wracking).

That's very interesting to know.
I'm surprised by the lack of signs in his own backyard.

As soon as acorn reads this though, the signs and bumpstickers will be all over again. (:

Obama bumper stickers are still prevalent in South Florida but not as much as they were 3-4 months before and most of them are on minority driven vehicles.

I watched Conan on Tuesday night and was surprised to see in the first half hour at least 3 Obama jokes, one Jimmy Carter joke that drew a small smatter of boos to which he replied “how can you boo me?”...the crowd roared into laughter and one Hillary joke.

I was shocked. I expected to see bumperstrips and campaign signs everywhere. In fact, I was dreading it.

You are probably right you will start seeing them again — ACORN at work although they have a lot to do with trying to keep the southside happy with all the promises made by ZERO and virtually nothing delivered.

don’t forget:

Appointing tax cheats to government positions.

Trying to appoint a racist to the Supreme Court.

Bowing to the Saudi King.

I don’t think Zero cares about his ratings. He’s on a mission from his god, to destroy America as fast as possible.

Ras’s goofy ‘highly approve/disapprove’ is at -2, but that is not the real poll.

Well it is an attempt to account for salience, unlike other polls.
