Woo hoo!! We'll be taking the Tea Party Express to DC where we'll join with hundreds of thousands of outraged Americans raising holy hell against the wannabe fascist tinpot dictator, B. Hussein Obama!!

It's our intention to step up the intensity level of the Tea Party movement a few decibels! Obama is now attempting to RULE over America without even seeking oversight or approval of the U.S. Congress or the consent of We the People! This cannot be allowed to stand! America is a constitutional republic NOT a dictatorship!

It is our solemn constitutional duty as free AMERICANS to secure the Blessings of Liberty for ourselves and our posterity! Every generation of Americans preceding us have done so. Prior generations have fought bloody wars against enemies foreign and domestic defending our God-given rights to live FREE! Many of us are veterans who have sworn an oath to defend our constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. An oath is forever!

Forgive me for the suggestion I am about to make.

The term “tea party” has been
Alinskied and marginalized in the media. Maybe it is the Tea Bag symbol that has been the problem.

With all the sharp minds here at FR would an attempt to rename the cause be worthwhile? From a marketing stand point?

The cause is a huge as any ever and the symbol does not exemplify the seriousness of the challenge we all face.

Well, I suppose anyone can campaign to rename the movement, but there is no one person or organization in charge and no single person or entity to appeal to. It’s a total grassroots movement. Hundreds of organizations and hundreds of thousands of American citizens from every city and state in the nation involved.

Problem is the original tea party was about taxes.

The smear has been conservatives are white racist men that are mean and selfish.

We don’t want to pay our fair share.

Taxes are part of it, but minor compared to saving all that is American.

All Americans who revere our Constitution should do everything they can to show up in Washington,DC for 9/12/09! Constitution defending patriots from all across America will be there!

When we heard that our own JimRob was going to be on the Tea Party Express Caravan from California to DC, Brytani and I started talking about wanting to go to DC too. We had had such a good time at the Florida Freeper Convention in Orlando this past April, that we decided to see how many Florida Freepers would join together to go to DC for 9/12.

When Brytani put out the post about going to DC and booking the same hotel, she received a great response from Florida Freepers. She then asked JimRob about opening it up to see how many Freepers from across America would be interested in joining us. JimRob said "Go for it!"

Now you know the rest of the story! The response was so great that we now have our first National Free Republic Tea Party Convention planned!

Freepers from across America will be there to defend our Constitution and make our voices heard with thousands of other American patriots! And to have a National Freeper Convention at the same time is a huge plus! Getting to meet JimRob and being in the company of Freepers from all across the US will be an event you won't want to miss! :)
