It turns out the Obama White House planted two questioners at yesterday's press conference by Barack Obama, a move that further cements the reputation of the media as being complicit with the Obama administration.
The incident also raises uncomfortable questions for liberals who falsely accused the Bush administration of the same practice. The news media's tolerance and complicity
One of the plants acknowledged Obama's staff chose the topic of his question for him.
Huffington Post blogger Nico Pitney and Spanish language EFE reporter Macarena Vidal were invited by the White House to the press conference and given special access. Obama called on them from a list of questioners prepared by his staff.
While the planting of the Huffington Post shill was much remarked upon yesterday, the planting of the EFE reporter was not noticed until The Washington Post's Dana Milbank reported on it in his column filed yesterday evening. However, he buried the bombshell at the end of his column and the media has ignored this:
Pitney said the White House, though not aware of the question's wording, asked him to come up with a question about Iran proposed by an Iranian. And, as it turned out, he was not the only prearranged questioner at yesterday's show. Later, Obama passed over the usual suspects to call on Macarena Vidal of the Spanish-language EFE news agency. The White House called Vidal in advance to see whether she was coming and arranged for her to sit in a seat usually assigned to a financial trade publication. She asked about Chile and Colombia.
Liberals went nuclear when an Internet-based reporter was unexpectedly called on by President Bush at a press conference in 2005. The reporter, Jeff Gannon, was set upon and had his life turned inside out and family members threatened because liberals, including Democrat members of Congress, falsely accused him of being a Bush administration plant.
Gannon eventually took and passed a lie detector on the subject and exhaustive investigations by mainstream reporters and liberal bloggers failed to come up with any evidence that he was connected to the Bush administration.
Now that the Obama administration has been caught red-handed planting two questioners at the same press conference, what will the response from the media and liberal bloggers be?
Thanks for reply. I am hoping it gets very poor ratings but dont have much faith in the general population. See you on the thread...hoping the brat prince provides us the material needed to yuck it up.
“hoping the brat prince provides us the material needed to yuck it up.”
You mean you hope his teleprompter will provide us material...lol. TOTUS always provides material because he is a fascist liar for a marxist tool.
Who’s next, Perez Hilton?

(continuing) So... Mr. President, is it better to do a big hit of crack before or after you get teabagged?"
I wonder if they have teleprompters for the ‘press’ to read from?
Well, if the White House ran it, it would be broke.
The tmedia
(the Democrat point of view)
No one said we couldn’t decide WHO gets to be in the audience.
No one said we couldn’t ‘assist’ the attendees with some suggestions for questions.
No one said we couldn’t let the President know what we suggested.
No one said what WE could do, ergo we can do anything we want.
On the other hand, it has been well established what the other party CAN and CANNOT do. It’s the law, silly.
That's what I wondered. Maybe it's a Muslim thing. Or maybe it's a Pakistani thing, like the way young Indian men walk along holding hands.
Many voted for Obama just because he was black.
Those of us who want him out, don’t care what ‘race’ he belongs to. It’s everything but his ‘race’ that is the problem.
In honor of this historic broadcast, my TV is off for the entire evening.
No. That would make it seem like a setup.
They simply asked beforehand who wanted to ask questions on NK, Afghanistan, Iraq, and the BC.
Their names were noted.

We have every TV in the house on Fox News. I might have a look at the live thread though and see what folks that are watching it are saying though.
bump
I don’t give a rats behind if he is black, white, red, brown or green.
It is his policies and his strong arm tactics along with his lying that I want out of our government.
My best friend growing up was Purto Rican.
My childhood friend that I played with was black.
The person I worked with for 17 years who I supported for promotion and teamed up with was a female.
I am not a racist I think all lying politicians who are greedy and power hungry at the expense of the people they serve should be voted out, regardless of their race. I despise them all equally!
“There is nothing whatsoever ethical about this President or his administration.”
Betcha these guys know lotsa card tricks, too.
