Not to be disrespectful or anything, but I wouldn’t be surprised if more Americans pay attention to Michael Jackson’s death than the bloodbath going on in Iran.

It’s painful seeing all the hideous video of Jackson with his nose chopped off. ‘Thriller’ was a great, great album made at the height of his career, and the last truly great thing he did. That was 25 years ago. Jackson’s fall was a long and excruciating thing to behold.

An obviously unhappy and strange man who committed sex crimes against children - and the fact that he was abused himself as a child is not an excuse.
