Sarah Palin is a dim bulb.
She’s less articulate than George Bush.
We can’t afford people who can’t form a coherent sentence anymore.
Palin fails the most basic requirement of a conservative leader: the ability to make an intelligent case for conservative solutions.

When she said on national TV “No wonder young girls especially have such low self-esteem in America when we think it’s funny for a so-called comedian to get away with such a remark as he did,” that was the last straw for me. That is utter gibberish. One too many stumbling incoherent statements in a long line of stumbling incoherent statements from here. If conservatives can’t find ANYONE smarter than her to carry the message, then it isn’t a message worth carrying. We may as well pack it in and admit we’re the STUPID PARTY once and for all.

I don’t care what she ‘represents’ if she can’t even form a grammatically correct sentence. The conservative cause was SETBACK by years because of George W. Bush’s inability to communicate. We didn’t progress under Bush. We need a communicator. If not a Great Communicator, at least an Adequate Communicator. Palin is not that person, and can never be that person.

Thomas Sowell believes future President Palin to be quite intelligent. Thomas Sowell has indisputable credibility, counterpunch has none.

You and others in and out of the republican party just don’t get it sometime. There are millions of conservative Americans that DON’T CARE whether Sarah flows through every word/sentence with literary beauty. listen to half the democratic house and senate! we are looking for an honest, principled, christian, experienced candidate....that happens to be an American conservative. She’s it.

I respectfully beg to differ on a couple of your points:

It wasn't George W. Bush's inability to communicate that set conservatism back; it was his refusal to communicate until it was simply a matter of being too little, too late, and too bitter towards the wrong people.

The ability to communicate effectively is important. But while a person may not have a particularly strong grasp of grammar or syntax, if one is still able to get one's point across to as many people as possible, then that is what matters. If we based our choices of leaders solely upon their ability to form a grammatically-correct sentence, the only people who would be in Washington are attorneys, professors, and political hacks who can afford skilled speechwriters.

And I would posit that the crisis in which our nation finds itself is due to the fact that our halls of Congress are already populated with far too many attorneys, professors, and political hacks who can afford skilled speech writers.

You can keep your yearning for slick and precise orators who, for all their grammatical correctness, would still run over your mother and children for a quick, self-serving deal.

As for me, I'll take the plain talker who fights for what is right.

So I guess I just have to ask...Who is your guy/gal???

Are their initials R.P.???

I’m just asking...Because it would clear up your position...

Or, and here is a safety net...

Is it someone you think will come along in the next couple of years to lead the way???

My opinion??? Oh, glad you ask...

I believe the person who is anointed to be “it” in 2012, will be a sacrificial lamb...Just like Bob Dole...

Unless something drastic happens that cannot be spun away, We will be stuck with Barack Hussien Obama till a cold blustery day in January 2017...

Sorry to be such a naysayer...But the Republican party leadership has failed to develop a bullpen of candidates that can compete...Sure they are pretty conservative, but it just didn’t deliver...

The omission of the common contraction "It's," from the start of that string of words means she can't communicate? She gave that great convention address with a bum teleprompter. I wouldn't be so obsessive/compulsive about grammar when the other prospective candidates are so uninspiring or tarnished. Sarah connects with the base.

I thought the statement was very understandable from a parent’s point of view...and having had two girls of my own!

Bush won 2 elections despite his so called “speach” issues and even Barak won despite his “I uh you know Hope and change uh my Musli uhh Christian faith” colloquialisms. So get over your self!

Sarah Palin is a dim bulb. And you, of course, are the genius of the age. She’s less articulate than George Bush. So?

We can’t afford people who can’t form a coherent sentence anymore. Strange, most of the American people seem to understand her; even liberals who understand all too well what she says, and hate her for it: like you.

Palin fails the most basic requirement of a conservative leader: the ability to make an intelligent case for conservative solutions. She seems to be doing rather well being understood and agreed with with intelligent, honest-to-God real conservatives: a great deal better than you are doing with your Democratic Underground trolling.

When she said on national TV “No wonder young girls especially have such low self-esteem in America when we think it’s funny for a so-called comedian to get away with such a remark as he did,” that was the last straw for me. Can’t stand the truth, huh?

That is utter gibberish. One too many stumbling incoherent statements in a long line of stumbling incoherent statements from here. Incoherent? Too difficult for you to understand? Well, I guess those more-than-two syllable words can be rather confusing to low IQ people.

If conservatives can’t find ANYONE smarter than her (she) to carry the message, then it isn’t a message worth carrying. We may as well pack it in and admit we’re the STUPID PARTY once and for all.

I don’t care what she ‘represents’ if she can’t even form a grammatically correct sentence. The conservative cause was SETBACK by years because of George W. Bush’s inability to communicate. If I were you, I would take several lessons in grammar before I criticized a person whom even half-literate liberals seem to understand perfectly. Or are you going to continue admitting to your clearly displayed stupidity?

That sentence wasn’t the tiniest bit ungrammatical. It meanders a bit, but it’s not the least bit ungrammatical.

When Sarah talks like that, I feel she’s trying to soften things a bit. I would prefer that she say “despots,” “tyrants,” or “thuggish criminals,” rather than “people who don’t have America’s best interests at heart.”

There goes that troll again - once again spewing out the LiEberal talking points. BTW you’ve just written ALL About your BO Hussein - you know the one who can’t even talk without a teleprompter? The one with ZERO experience? The one who is bankrupting this Country?

Listen, why don’t you take a hike to Huffie Poo or Daily Crap - the door is on your left.
