THERE'S a huge difference between what South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford did, and what ex-New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer did. "I didn't fall in love with any of them," Spitzer was overheard telling LMDC executive director Avi Schick the other day at Solo in the Sony Building on Madi son, where they had the $24 prix-fixe lunch. And Spitzer didn't use any taxpayer money on his trysts, while Sanford is reimbursing the state about $12,000 for travel expenses to Buenos Aires. Schick had Vietnamese beef spring rolls and a grilled chicken salad.

What world am I living in? Spitzer claims the moral hi ground for having paid for meaningless sex rather than an actual love affair?

This is what passes today for moral superiority on the Left: my infidelity was less odious than yours because I bought a whore, whereas you fell in love.
I think that claim is debatable. He set up business events as cover for the trysts and must have taken staff and security with him.

I wonder how Spitzer is getting his “relief” nowadays. He is probably too scared to pay hookers again and Silda is avoiding his talleywhacker like the plague because she knows where it has been sans protection. And the idea that Eliot has a girlfriend on the side is also out of the question since NO normal woman could love his ugly bony frame that is completely lacking in the slightest bit of charm.
This is the dumbest political claim since Stalin said, “At least I didn’t have a holocaust.”

Ha... well, one is man-made, and both are god-made... Seems like not so large a difference if you think about it...
In fact I would have to say the exact opposite, at least Sanford can claim love as an inducement(Not that I condone it), Spitzer can only claim lust.

I'm with Spitzer on this one. You pay for it one way or another, what is the point in getting attached?
Can $3,000 an hour buy you more love than the mere $50 I can afford? I mean, once the lights are off, who can tell the difference?
Geraldo just had someone on who reported that Sanford’s girlfriend also had another boyfriend in Argentina.
All claims by Stanford will go over just fine with Democrats - unfortunately, he has to answer to Republicans. So... When are you going to resign Mark? You have zero chance of re-election...better get in your licks now. Republicans actually (most of them - leaving out the establishment Republicans, you know, those that already have a job in Washington) will have nothing to do with you...
Eliot thinks he takes the high road in this comparison? He needs to keep his pie hole shut. He has nothing to brag about.
Not much different than Sanford - just Sanford had a bit more emotion (politicians get to practice that a bunch)...
