Could Sarah's move mean the beginning of a Conservative third party?
Palin has some admirable qualities but the wishful thinking and heroine worship here is a bit too much.
I hope so..I hate the Republican party, bunch of elitist bastards who stab each other in the back and I don’t care if some say that a third party will never win. I’d rather belong to a party with people with CHARACTER then a party that stabs each other in the back and kisses the ass of the Democratic party

While she's quitting things, I'd love to see her quit the Republican party and start a 2nd party to fight all the Socialists in both parties.

It is up to us if there is to be such a party.
Since McCain’s MTV daughter is now “the new face of the GOP”, I don’t think that his would be a bad idea.
What bothers me on here are threads like this one that don’t understand starting another party or joining one means she would not have access on every ballot like Oklahoma. The Party has to get 5% in the last election to qualify for the ballot and we are not alone.
Some of you think you can snap your fingers and start another party. That couldn’t be further from the truth and the sooner some of you realize that, the better off we will all be. This notion that starting a new Party would end all problems is ludicrous.
Third parties have been around for years and don’t gain much traction. Sarah Palin will not leave the Republican Party but she is certainly going to do a makeover and get the GOP back to its roots.

More like the NeoCon getting Teabagged party. This cult of personality adulation of GWB and then Palin gave us Zero.
She may be able to take the control of the Republican party away from the Rino’s. I’m also hoping she will have a huge positive effect on the mid-term elections in 2010.

I, for one, very much understand how difficult it is. But maybe Sarah is starting way ahead of the game.
If it's possible and she goes for it then she might pull it off.
