Sarah Palin, New Party ?????

Like many here, I am a political prognosticator. I followed Sarah Palin here for almost 2 years and told friends last May if McCain only chance is to pick Palin. So what does Sarah Palin's latest move mean?

Maybe so. But the theory that Sarah Palin could be competitive on a national stage was busted in November. In the end, she didn’t help the ticket get even close.

You are lying. Sarah put McCain ahead in the polls for the first time in his campaign, then the idiot caved in on the bail out and cut his own throat, that and the fact the stupid SOB told everyone what a great President Bozo would make, tied Sarah's hands and wouldn't let anyone criticize Bozo about anything, he** he even jumped one of his supporters for using Bozo's middle name. The only one that sank McCain was McCain and anyone except a RINObot would know that. Sarah pulled his sorry a** up out of the depths and kept him from being an absolute diaster.

Recently she pulled 20,000 people in a town that barely has 25,000 people in it, McCain could never do that, neither could Romney or any of the other RINO a**hats.

If Sarah runs in 2012 she will cream Bozo, whether you think so or not.

“Losing by 10 million votes, 7+ points, and more electoral votes than they carried proves you were wrong about her being McCain’s best shot.”

...and if McCain had chosen a running mate who was a RINO like he is, instead of a conservative like SP??? My sense is that the margin of defeat would have been double digits for McCain.

Just because Bill Bennett may or may not agree with the future of Palin, doesn't make him a RINO. I have heard his radio show, he is NO rino.

You may be blinded by your emotions.

I happen to have two new Palin bumper stickers for the trucks. Ready to go at the first announcement.

No new party with Sarah. She is about to fill a vacuum of leadership in the
Republican party.

If the media wants to focus on her, then fine—let them do this as she relates to the events of the day as a much-needed counterpoint to Obama and the Media.

I totally believe that everyone who voted for McCain-Palin were voting for Sarah, not McCain.

Those who did so voted accd, to their FEELINGS, which I thought was 'sposed to be of a liberal mentality...but the fact of the matter is that if you voted for Palin, you voted for JUAN McCAIN, & there's no way of going around that. HE woulda been President, not her. HE woulda been the one calling the shots.

That's what you get when you vote w/ your feelings rather than your intelligence.

Ross Perot showed the problem with 3rd parties in the US. Most states are so rigged that it is impossible to get on the ballot. The Reps and Dems have seen to that. They want all of the pie.

I don't know what Palin has up her sleeve, but anyone that hunts and is a life member of the NRA I will heartily support and work to get elected as President.

We need some honest Americans in Washington.

Well the GOP did not factor in Akorn voting 43 times for each person. The election in Iran was more honest then ours.

Uh how can you imply with such certainty that she is responsible for the shortfall? Frankly, IMHO many would not have even bothered to go vote for McCain had she not joined the ticket. He needed her charisma and conservatism.

They don't want her leadership or her...

Heck, the blue bloods can't stand Southerners or Evangelicals and she is probably not to far from them since she didn't attend an Ivy league school in their eyes. Just look at Noonan's off record comments that got caught. So why play nice with these bozo's when they are out to get you? If you were at top of your game at your job and this happened, you would leave and put out your own shingle. same deal...

Palin improved McCain’s standing for a while. They were leading in all the polls in September.
But then she imploded and McCain went back down to where he was before picking her.

In the end, she didn’t have what it took to bring in more votes than 0bama brought in.
That’s how elections work. They are pretty straight forward.

Two tickets are on the ballot, and their supporters stand up to be counted. Who ever has the most wins. Sarah Palin’s supporters stood up to be counted, and there were 10 million fewer of them than there were 0bama supporters.

A lot of people also lost faith in McCain’s judgement after the Palin implosion. How many people decided not to vote for McCain because of her?

When McCain picked Palin, she essentially took over the ticket. Conservatives got on board and moderates and independents dropped out. There was a complete transfer of support. It became a Palin/0bama race.

Both candidates gained and lost support as the public studied them, and when it came time to be counted, 0bama had 10 million more people behind him than Palin did.

unfortunately, as I posted the day after the election, there has only been one person who lost in the election for Vice President only to be elected President in the last century, that was FDR.
