And I doubt that Pete King has what it takes to be the first GOP senator in New York in over a decade. Even running against Gillibrand. Or Carolyn Maloney.

I agree with him. I’m the guy here that does.
Being a Conservative, I don’t think there is one single thing to be gained by him doing it in as visible a position as he is in.
It’s not a matter of denying him a right. He should see that it is clearly non-productive.
Name one thing to be gained by it.

Like others said, he must see value in saying this. Only he knows why...
He’s clearly not thinking. He’s a media hog, just didn’t think, or is doing it to achieve something.
I didn’t like it.

She never left. King is a product of politics as usual with an “R” behind his name.
Those days are gone. Mrs. Palin does not play by the old tired rules of loser Republican politics. Pete missed the bus.

John Ziegler said it best,
If you're talking about his O'Reilly appearance tonight, what was O'Reilly's take on it? I flipped it over just as O'Reilly went to commercial.

I’m sorry, I should have clarified, I heard him today on his radio show, you should check it out, Monday through Friday 11-1 PM Pacific time, he said that statement on today’s radio broadcast

No one’s paying attention to this remark. It’s Peter King’s remarks about Michael Jackson that are getting ink, especially in New York.

You obviously don’t know who the hell you are even talking about. STEVE King from Iowa IS a staunch Conservative. He stated his opinion and gave Sarah a lot of credit. Jesus , give the guy a break, he is far from a Rino! You immediately jump the guy and don’t even know who the hell you are talking about. He is one of the few Repubs in the House who has the gonads to challenge The One. I believe Sarah has a legitimate shot in 2012 and I am a huge fan....I hope she is running... on her terms! But the least you can do is get your facts right on which King you are talking about.

A smart conservative politician would make this statement to the press: “I have no idea whether or not she can or will resurrect her presidential ambitions. However, since she and I share the same goals for this country, if that’s her intention, I’d be happy to support her in any way I can.”

I don’t know of anyone who has successfully and voluntarily pulled themselves out of political office and been able to leverage that into more political success," King said in an interview with The Hill on Monday. 1. Winston Churchill

I don’t think he said he would not support her. He said he hoped she had a strategy that others couldn’t, or haven’t tried before And he is probably right, others couldn’t do it. Hell, they should all have to resign their taxpayer funded jobs to run for POTUS.

Is anyone keeping a record of the nay sayers about Sarah? Wish I had started one right after her announcement. I will be supporting her.
