Even with the high cost of bullets these days, this will still save the N.C. taxpayers beaucoup bucks.

My only criticism with this story is an old one.
I would rather see the names and images of the victims, than see anything related to this (paroled) animal.
Our system is broken. Releasing this human mad-dog (criminal rights and all) was deemed more important than the lives of his future victims.
I suppose the satisfaction the do-gooders feel should be reward enough.

Burris had a long rap sheet filled with charges such as larceny, forgery and breaking and entering from states across the Southeast, including Florida, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. He had been paroled from a North Carolina prison in April after serving nearly eight years.
“Look at this,” Lloyd said, waiving a stapled copy of Burris’ criminal record. “This is like 25 pages. At some point the criminal justice system is going to need to explain why this suspect was out on the street.”
******
He was wanted on numerous warrants.
Blanton listed some of Burris criminal history, which includes 2 counts of armed robbery, multiple traffic violations, a weapons violation and possession of stolen goods.

1. He doesn’t look that much like the artist rendering.
2. WTH was this loser doing on parole?

"They said he was a felon with a lengthy record who was paroled in April after serving more than eight years for felony breaking and entering and larceny. Well so much for our criminal justice system.
With such an enormous revolving door designed into the system; is anyone really surprised by this?

Multiply the release of perps like this times 1,000, or maybe 10,000, and that’s what California is facing, due to their collapsed budget.

That is a ridiculous statement that I hold neither your state nor your relatives responsible for.

Possibly the concept that you propose to hold people who had, as far as is known, no part in this individuals crimes, were not a party to them, and did not contribute to them. Perhaps, if you were held to this standard, you have associates that have done things that you would not be judged for.
