Sunday will mark one year since the death of Tony Snow from cancer. He battled the disease, which originated in his colon before spreading, for more than three years.
Snow, a longtime commentator and journalist, anchored at Fox News Channel and later worked for a short time at CNN. In between his TV jobs, he served as White House Press Secretary for President George W. Bush.
This Sunday, TVNewser has learned, Fox News Channel will mark the anniversary of Snow's death with numerous mentions of him throughout the day, along with thoughts from Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush and from FNC colleagues such as Bill O'Reilly and Greta Van Susteren.

Reqiescat in Pace, FRiend. May your family be comforted by the good wishes and prayers of all who post (and lurk) here.
Amen.
Memorial prayer up for a good man.
Hope you’re doing well Bahbah.
I’ve had that day on my calendar for some time. My Mom loved Tony; he sent her an autographed photo on her birthday (July 13) ththree years ago......
Tony was a good man.
Great picture of 2 of my most favorite and admired men. We miss both of them so much.
He was the absolute best.
Tony is sorely missed. Prayers for his family.
I’m not sure what is more difficult to accept ... thousands of posts on FR regarding Michael Jackson and less than fifty on this thread for a passionate, great American like Tony Snow. Hopefully more will see this and post.
Decent people remember Tony. He is dearly missed but in a much better place. May he rest in peace.
RIP, Tony and may God bless your family.
We sure do miss you Tony.
RIP, friend.
Everytime I hear “Ted’s Jam”, I think of Tony...

It’s been in my CD player since I heard it on his radio show.
Thanks for the ping Bahbah, and thanks to you, RWI, for posting this thread.
Tony certainly was one of the good guys. I miss his show and his intellect, his easy demeanor and his common sense.
Don’t know if any of you saw Mike Barnicle this morning on Morning Joe. He had some nice words concerning Tony, saying Tony was a good man and truly one of the most honest people in DC. Barnicle also said he genuinely missed Tony. He was very sincere, and his face showed it.
RIP, Tony Snow. We miss you muchly, man.
Snoq.
How true.
My ‘he’s in a better place’ philosophy leaves me in Tony Snow discussions. While that is true, our place has been left a lot less hopeful in his passing. His soul, I am sure, rests in peace. I pray for his family.
Its a bit like driving down the road and a wonderful but not particularly popular vehicle goes by - some of us look because we know and appreciate really fine cars. But every one stops to look at the car crash.
Thanks, friend. I don’t watch MJ so I would not have known about that.
I am glad that I do know.
