Thank you both for the ping. I was unaware that Fox News planned to remember Tony on the date of his passing. I am glad that they chose to do so as Tony was a big part of Fox from its early days. As for me, I was simply numb last year. This one year remembrance may be tougher for me because it comes after a year of fully grasping what Tony's absence has meant personally.

Hopefully, many of the SnowFlakes will return to post, I see a few already have, to ease the loss we all feel so deeply.

Glad you posted here, too. He is greatly missed by all
Snowflakes.

He would have had a wonderful perspective on the current
idiocy going on in DC!

Amen...God rest his beautiful soul!

We were...and still are...blessed to have known Tony during the short while he was w/us.

I pray for his wife and children who must miss his loving presence even more than we do. May they find in the coming years some measure of peace.

You are welcome, SL. I didn't see that you had already been alerted.

Well, I say, you can't have too many posts on a Tony Snow thread.

He was a breath of fresh air that came from nowhere to success as Brit Hume’s Friday sub.

I think he would have loved Twitter for the chance to connect with and talk to everyday people.

retrokitten! So true---I hadn't thought of that, but you are right. He would have loved it--and would have had a jillion followers. I miss him so much.

Great picture of 2 of my most favorite and admired men. We miss both of them so much.

My sentiments exactly. Love them both and miss them terribly.

Thank you for the ping, Bahbah!

I miss Tony so much. Especially because of the situation we are in. It would be so great to have his wonderful smile, his optimistic perspective, and his amazing mind here to help us get through these difficult times.

Thank you for posting this lovely column and for starting the thread.

It was a Saturday morning last year. I was the first one up and sat down at the computer for a bit before heading out to the gym--just as I am today. I saw the news and started crying. I have never cried for anyone I didn't know like I cried (and still do at times!) for Tony.

Many of us were quite concerned and uneasy as he had canceled appearances and was out of the public eye for some time---but still, it was such a shock. I was surprised at the depth of my grief for him--and it was such a comfort to find that others felt the same way.

We lost a national treasure a year ago. The Snow family lost so much more. They are often in my prayers.

I totally agree. There is no one else like him.
