Following the mad recommendations of Peter Singer made in NYT's Sunday magazine, it pays to take a look at what is actually in the healthcare bill.
It's worse than you can possibly imagine. Somehow, it manages to be Singer on steroids. Who wrote this bill. It has Singer's footprints all over it.

I knew someone who went from well to dead in 3 weeks on an end of life order. Elderly yes, but had been in good health, was a retiree on a full pension, son of a Dr and father of 2 more. Morphine & dehydration.

I do not have the time to read a 1,000 page bill. But if somebody has, and they purport to explain it, then let them do so in acceptable English, not teenager code.
I believe you. All I have to do is consider the source. Nothing coming from ostammer, his administration or HIS congress is good. It’s all bad. But if I was in congress, I would read the bills and/or have my staff share the work and then I would comment on them vociferously to the public so that the people of this country know the details of what he’s up to. I would scrutinize and expose everything they’re doing and would object to it and rally congressional support against the bills, meaning all or nearly all of them.
I appreciate your effort. I just can’t understand most of what you’ve said. I get a sense of some of it, and it’s all bad, but I already knew it would be.
