Sotomayor - Where Did You Put That $3.5 Million "your honor"? - SHE MUST BE STOPPED
Judicial Discipline Reform ^ | July 23, 2009 | bioqubit

Posted on 07/24/2009 10:32:14 AM PDT by bioqubit

Sotomayor is a criminal - sorry, alleged criminal - and this website explains how. http://www.judicial-discipline-reform.org/

The information on this website is presumably why the Senate Judiciary Committee has rescheduled the confirmation vote. I would say anytime you fail to mention around $3.5 million in assets, as Sotomayor did, you might find yourself running afoul of the law. But then what does she know? She's "just a judge".

Dr. Richard Cordero has amassed voluminous evidence against her. The committee knows about it, but they are stalling to see what the public reaction will be. Well, we are going to have to weigh in very heavily on this to get any justice at all. So, CHARGE!!!

I agree she must be stopped but wonder if she can be. She has the MSM on her side, and the wise woman has much more important things to do than answer accusations from a bunch of racist and mostly white men. /sarc

But I agree with you, and will read.

She reports a half million in assets, so she’s lived on the other 3 million over the last 20 years, so it’s 150K a year in a very expensive city. She probably eats out more often than not. This is a story with no substance.

The judicial cronyism is the real story, but it’s endemic to the system.

Yeah, I can’t wade through that whole web page, but less than $200K/year for a single person in NYC is just living okay, not a likely source for huge savings.

It’s bad enough that’s she’s a member of the taxpayer funded racist group La Raza.

Citigroup, recently bailed out by the US taxpayer, is giving $1.75 million to La Raza.

I just sent the following as an e-mail to both my democrat senators (Virginia):

Senator W_______,

I have recently been quite mercilessly and almost continuously critical of you for what I perceive as your repeated kow-towing to our dangerously socialist president during the implementation of his horrific social and economic “visions” for America. However, despite my almost total philosophical opposition to virtually everything Mr. Obama stands for, and by your association as a democrat most of what YOU stand for, I try my best to be fair in my analysis and judgment of your actions in the Senate.

To that end, I am sending this message today to thank you for your vote in favor of the National Right to Carry Reciprocity Amendment (aka the “Thune Amendment” to Senate Bill 1390). Your vote in support of the basic human right to self-defense and the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution of the United States indicates to me that you, unlike many of your party colleagues, have at least a basic understanding of our founders’ intent that where the rights of the people clash with the powers (or perceived powers) of the government, the rights of the people should take precedence in almost every case.

I hope, sir, that you will soon take your understanding and support of the Constitution of the United States of America to the next level by opposing the confirmation of Sonya Sotomayor as a Justice on the United States Supreme Court. By itself, her positively illogical and almost pathological hatred (yes, I really do think it is hatred) for the Second Amendment as well as her adamant refusal to speak in support of individuals’ rights to self defense during her confirmation hearing, are enough to render her wholly unqualified to interpret ANY portion of our beloved Constitution. And, since interpretation of our Constitution is (or at least should be) the one and only task of the Supreme Court, Ms. Sotomayor is obviously a VERY poor choice to be the next justice on that court.

I urge you, PLEASE break with your political party and do the right thing by the People of the United States by voting to deny Ms. Sotomayor a seat on the United States Supreme Court. A “compelling” personal story should NOT be considered evidence that ANY individual is qualified for ANY government position.

Who knows, maybe one of them will crack...

Hey! A guy can DREAM, can't he?

Why the jokes? Did anyone think Hillary and Bill hidden assets were a joke?

I don’t think this is either. If she lied; she should be made to step down; not only as a nominee; but as a judge as she is not fit to serve on any court.

Prominent Attorney Accuses Sotomayor of Possible Ethics Breach
FR Posted on Thursday, July 16, 2009 by kristinn

The following letter was sent to Senators Sessions, Hatch, Grassley, Graham and Coburn. It was also sent to Cong. Peter King (R) NY.

Text of the letter: I am an attorney in NYC who represented White House Photographer Chris Usher in litigation against Corbis, a privately held company wholly owned by Bill Gates. The case principally concerned lost Presidential and campaign photography during the 2000 Bush v. Gore Campaign and the US Supreme Court case related thereto. We won at the trial level in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York but the award to the victorious plaintiff was absurdly low. We appealed to the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals where the award was inexplicably upheld.

It was revealed by opposing counsel that Judge Sotomayor and Mr. Gates’ counsel have known and (possibly worked with) each other for decades. Such relationship was never disclosed to me as plaintiff’s attorney by the Court. No opportunity for us to request that Judge Sotomayor recuse herself was afforded as this information was never disclosed. The appearance of impropriety is astounding as Judge Sotomayor could have recused herself and we could have had another Appeals Panel within days. Please contact me so that this apparently unethical judicial behavior is brought to the attention of the judiciary committee immediately. Edward C. Greenberg, Esq. contact info redacted.

HER ACTUAL WORDS FROM THE BENCH TO AN ADMITTED DRUG DEALER: Sentencing Louis Gomez (a noncitizen), who pleaded guilty to dealing cocaine:

“[I]t is in some respects a great tragedy for our country that instead of permitting you to serve a lesser sentence and rejoin your family at an earlier time I am required by law to give you the statutory minimum. ... [W]e all understand that you were in part a victim of the economic necessities of our society, unfortunately there are laws that I must impose. “Louis Gomez, yours is the tragedy of our laws and the greatest one that I know. ... the one our congressmen never thought about and don’t think about. ... “It is no comfort to you for me to say that I am deeply, personally sorry about the sentence that I must impose, because the law requires me to do so. The only statement I can make is this is one more example of an abomination being committed before our sight. You do not deserve this, sir.”

============================================

Nelson Castellanos was arrested in NYC outside his Harlem apartment, charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine. He was holding his keys and a white shopping bag containing about $10,000, mostly in $1 and $20 bills. That evening, pursuant to a warrant, DEA personnel searched his apartment and found over 1,200 grams of cocaine, six live rounds of ammunition, a .44 caliber revolver and incriminating notebooks. All this evidence was thrown out by District Court Judge Sonia Sotomayor on the grounds that the DEA agents had not provided the magistrate with probable cause to search Castellanos's apartment.

Citigroup----- recently bailed out by US taxpayers-----is giving $1.75 million to La Raza.

La Raza is also financially supported by many corporations and tax-exempt foundations (listed on the Discover the Networks.org).

Among them: American Express Foundation, AT&T Foundation, Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Fannie Mae Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, W. K. Kellogg Foundation, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation and Verizon Foundation.

NOTE WELL Between 2001 and 2003, the Ford Foundation gave La Raza about $9.83 million, with one grant alone totaling $8.05 million and has also assisted invaders to setup legal groups that are suing Americans.

Why the jokes?

I think it is a form of what is known as gallows humor.

We all know that this issue is unlikely to derail her almost certain confirmation to the highest court in our land. If we do not crack jokes about it then there is nothing left to do but weep quietly over the destruction of our Republic.

But, please be assured that I am fully aware of the seriousness of the situatin. I have contacted my senators several times over the last two weeks to register my vehement opposition to this wholly unqualified (and now possibly criminal) individual. I'd bet that at least some of my fellow "jokesters" on this thread are doing the same.

Add AARP and Fannie Mae...how’s that for irony. I’ll bet Fannie Mae is contributing after their bail out as well. We get to pay La Raza as taxpayers TWICE. How much more corrupt does this all have to get before people start to get it?
