The NRA did its job according to their single purpose.

Murtha is a dirtbag of all dirtbags. I agree with you. He only has one position that I agree wtih, he is totally pro 2nd ammendment. He holds an A++ rating with the NRA because of it. By the NRA’s single purpose they had to support him.

That is the danger of activism. A guy may be totally correct on 99 issues except one, and because of that one is ruled inept by the activist.

For the most part you will find those that have an A++ NRA rating also have pretty high marks in most areas from a conservative’s view point. Murhta is an anomaly.

Ooops ... John McLame also has an excellent NRA rating ... and he CERTAINLY is not and never has been a Conservative. But we don’t have a whining, love and need the media party to fit him. (Or schumer) Same type of person.

"...the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, another powerful lobby not prone to siding with the White House on every issue, endorsed Judge Sotomayor Thursday."

What on earth is WRONG with these idiots? She's a blatent anti-white racist and the Chamber of Commerce is supporting her???

What piece of her past gives any indication that she's in favor of free markets?

The goa was the only gun group to ask for a narrow view on Heller and the goa had nothing to do with Heller other than the brief. It was a man called Robert Levy who bankrolled the lawsuit.

Ask yourself why the goa asked for a narrow view and you’ll find out that it now takes 20,000 lawsuits to get rid of 20,000 gun laws. That the legacy of the goa.

Ask yourself why the goa has never sued any town, state or city due to Heller. That’s the NRA and the SAF. The goa has been AWOL from ALL lawsuits.

Thanks for nothing goa. The no results goa.

Thegoa has no track record. They have never done a thing by themselves. I waited for them to do something for the Katrina victims and they didn’t even bother to join with the NRA and the SAF with the countless lawsuits.

No one can find a single thing the goa has ever done on their own.

Thanks for the link to Gun-Shy. I am calling the NRA on Monday and will yell & scream & holler (yes, I do like & support & am a NRA member) but I want to be vehement in expressing my view to the NRA that ANY demoRAT so called supporters are evil & treacherous and will always vote so that it appears they support the NRA & 2nd Amendment, when in reality they are rat bastard traitors who are will follow the demoRAT commie party line whenever push comes to shove.

Why would anyone on this board hate the NRA?

They think the NRA sends too many fundraiser letters. They must have concertina barbed wire between them and the trash can. They also haven't figured out while they whine about the mailings, loyal NRA members are signing checks to the NRA-ILA.

Joining the goa is a waste of time and money. Until they learn to fight one single battle by themselves and stop criticizing the NRA, they will never get anywhere.

The Second Amendment Foundation has joined with the NRA on numerous lawsuits and they also sued cities on their own. They have an excellent track record.

If you want to join another group that has proven success, join the Second Amendment Foundation.

I guess they think that the legal defense they provide for the 2nd Amendment and the support they give to 2nd amendment supporting candidates is free.

The funny thing is the ones who claim they will fight in combat to defend their Rights, tell people we should march on Washington and start a civil war to support the Constitution are the exact same ones who complain they received a few letters in the mail.

Then there are the whiny goa members. If the goa was so good, why do they insist on mentioning the NRA in each of their press releases? If the NRA was so bad, why are the lib anti’s so afraid of the NRA?
