Record lows, global cooling across U.S. (New Ice Age?)
One News Now ^ | 7/27/2009 | Pete Chagnon

People all across the U.S. are asking a similar question: "What happened to summer?"

A check on Twitter will find a recurring tweet theme from people in New England. For example, "It's so depressing that it's the middle of July, cloudy, and barely 70 [degrees]." Another reads, "Had to wear my winter coat; it was 48 degrees this morning...in July!"

Marc Morano with ClimateDepot.com says all across America, record low temperatures have been broken throughout the summer. He blames that on a recent trend of global cooling that has been in place for more than seven years.

"The reason Climate Depot is covering this is because every heat wave, every extreme storm, everything the media tries to promote when it's the other way -- every hurricane, every drought, flood...they always blame everything on global warming," he notes. "So, all we are merely doing is pointing out some of the dramatic record low temperatures -- dramatic to the point where some meteorologists have dubbed 2009 the year without a summer."

Stupid Gore. Stupid Obama. Stupid Congress that just mills around visiting each other when they're in session and does only harm to our nation.

Our Congressrats generally read all the comments they make for the 'record' as written by their gargantuan and extremely costly staffers.

It’s been one of the nicest summers I can remember here in Indiana. Windows open, air off, I wish it would be like this every summer.

And yet on or about August 1, the NASA climate people will issue a press release saying that we’ve had the warmest July on record.

Algore has already covered his derrier by changing it from Global Warming to Global Climate Change, and in 2004 his Hollywood buddies made a movie to explain the "record cold" issue.

What are they gonna do now? They told the weather forecasters, movie makers, and TV producers to hype the scare. And they did. And it didn’t work, because the reality is bigger than the hype.
What are they gonna do now? They were counting on fooling the public and getting their oppressive, anti-business, expensive marxist “climate” bill passed.
Liberals are damned fools.

What happened to Summer?? Well, I can tell you. It came to Texas for sure! An extended drought coupled with high temps and still days. No real change here, still seems like we’re in two different worlds...

Was at a ballgame in Lowell MA a few wks ago—chilly and rainy. I ordered a hot chocolate! I for one do hope it’s global warming in one respect—I’m traveling to Mississippi in 2 weeks to see ‘the roots of blues music’ and I wouldn’t want hot and humid.

And of course as soon as we point this out to the libs they stop saying ‘global warming’ and say ‘climate change’. I loved when they held global warming marches in snowstorms.

Has Texas left the 'Union' yet? If so I would put up with high temperatures and more freedom any day!

Shhhhh.

It's not Global Warming anymore, it's Climate Change.

And, it's our fault, unless Obama+Company can't fix it. Then, it's a natural process.

Don't upset the orthodoxy. Heretics will be burned.
