WASHINGTON - For a well-known straight shooter, Rep. Collin Peterson has caused a lot of collateral damage this week.

The Detroit Lakes Democrat was forced to apologize Tuesday for telling a Capitol Hill newspaper that a quarter of his constituents are conspiracy theorists -- a statement that immediately drew ire from political opponents back home.

"Twenty-five percent of my people believe the Pentagon and Rumsfeld were responsible for taking the Twin Towers down," Peterson told the website Politico, explaining why he does not like to hold town hall-style meetings.

Yep, that was a stupid remark in the first place, just as bad to bring it up again. Bye bye.

He was being conservative, that’s probably why he got some backlash.
The head kooks of the Leftist Moonbat grass roots Democrat party supporters, such as Rosey Odumbell have even used their media privileges to further their conspiracy theory. They are mad that he understated their numbers.

If you spend much time watching online video or listening to your “fellow” supporters (the least of them), you can’t but help but come away wondering if the majority of people are way below average. Actually, just listen to C-Span for a few days and you will become convinced that most of the population is “STUPID”! “Really Stupid”!

This really is a problem with Democracy. I assume that this is caused by our government union education system.
