New York Times Buries Bad Poll for Obama

New York Times Buries Bad Poll for Obama

Thursday's edition of The New York Times goes out of its way to bury poll results that reflect a growing public backlash against President Obama's healthcare proposals.

Newspapers usually feature their poll results on the front page. But the newspaper's editors apparently didn't want the results of the New York Times/CBS poll to draw too much attention.

A Page One headline refers to "growing unease" about healthcare, but the story does not provide the actual figures until much later.

In fact, readers won't find the poll results until the bottom third of Page A-17.

And before readers reach the actual poll numbers, the story offers them an explanation for why the public healthcare revolt is growing: Opponents of the president's reforms, readers are told, have spent $9 million on television ads to sway public opinion. (No mention is made of advertising that favors a government healthcare plan.)

When readers finally locate the poll results, the numbers speak for themselves — and it's not good news for the president.

The New York Times/CBS poll shows:

Sixty-nine percent of respondents believe Obama's plan will hurt the quality of their own healthcare.

Seventy-three percent believe it would limit their access to tests and treatment.

Sixty-two percent believe Democrats' proposals would require them to change doctors.

Seventy-six believe healthcare reform will lead to them paying higher taxes.

A whopping 77 percent expect their healthcare costs to rise.

The New York Times is like watching a sick pet goldfish. I keep waiting for it to go belly up and die.

But...Unlike a sick goldfish, the NYT can do a lot of Saul Alinsky Marxist damage even if it is in the belly up stages of dying.

The NYTimes could put it on the front page in red letters, but it is still buried in that only a handful of liberal toadies still read the paper.

The New York Times - with their biased one sided dishonest example - is killing the newspaper industry. Too many lesser papers are following them off the cliff.

0zer0’s tanking poll number is no suprise. 0zer0’s Socialized Soylent Green Dr. Assisted Suicide healthcare is seeing the light of day, and the American public is not going to be strongarmed by Rahm Emanuel and his Chicago Thugs into supporting a $1 Trillion fascist government power grab.

Unlike what Bill Maher says, the American public is not stupid. The vast majority like their current healthcare plan and don’t trust the government to make it better. They know the government hasn’t demonstrated that any program it runs is successful, like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, AmTrak, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the USPS, and on and on and on. Fix what you are already taxing me for before you come stealing more of my tax money for more incompetent government programs.

Poor 0zer0, he can’t even pull off an effective infomercial disguised as a news conference anymore so he has to go to Kroger’s for a town hall to sell his healthcare debacle- LOL!

0zer0’s poll numbers are tanking so he has to shift to “Campaigner In Chief” and continue his lies campaign.

His epic failure on all fronts is coming to light. The only thing bi-partisian about 0zer0 is the BIPARTISIAN OPPOSITION to his fascist ideas. His Porkulus bill is driving up unemployment and the deficit. His socialized Soylent Green Dr. Assisted Suicide Healthcare is political suicide for dumbcrats so even they are having a tough time supporting it. Rahm has to go out like a good Chicago thug with the steak knives again to get the Blue Dogs to fall in line and become Lap Dogs.

0zer0’s race baiting also didn’t work this week, so better blame GWBush again. Maybe folks will forget that 0zer0 voted for the $800 Billion bank bailout last fall along with all the other Dumbcrats. Then supported the $800 Billion Porkulus. Then supported the AIG and Government Motors and CryCar bailouts. Add it up. No wonder 0zer0 has a $2+ Trillion deficit. Now lets add another $1 Trillion for 0zer0 Socialized Soylent Green Dr. Assisted Suicide Healtcare.

Hey 0zer0 - is this how your Pay-As-You-Go plan is supposed to work? Maybe you should rename it the “You pay as I go” plan.

Where’s my bailout? I’m still waiting for my tax cut, along with 95% of all other Americans.

Just keep spinning (lying) Dumbcrats. The more 0zer0 is out there doing infomercial press conferences and town halls, the worse his poll numbers and the poll number for other dumbcrats get. You are already seeing the tea parties and protestors dominating the events. It’s going to be a very HOT August recess for Congress. They will be happy to get back to Wash DC in September just to avoid the angy voters.

The N.Y. Times has long been useless but this poll, albeit hidden, is encouraging for those of us who value our freedoms.

Apparently, the alleged Obama 'charisma' is rapidly wearing off and his Alinsky-driven socialist agenda is becoming clearer - and predictably unpalatable - to a majority of Americans no longer impressed with his oratory and 'cool guy' persona. The days of Obama being considered by Americans as the 'smartest guy in the room' is about over and his cohorts in the MSM can't save him.

When your policies foster wide unemployment and achieve nothing tangible to the average American (unless you're a member of an Obama-favored special interest group, such as labor unions), you can see your health care going away to be replaced by some improbable government-run 'single-payer' system that basically forces the elderly to go without necessary medical care to conserve resources, you can expect that your words and alleged 'charisma' will eventually fall on deaf ears and the public will turn away from you and your ideas.

Just as Barack Hussein Obama has failed the voters who gave him the most powerful position in the world - and are watching him use it to disparage America abroad, drastically weaken our economy and our national security while pandering to foreign dictators and ersatz 'kings' and take away our easy access to decent health care in exchange for a restrictive, numbers-driven system that will cost us more while offering much less. For what? Some fake 'crisis'?

Thank God, Americans are (very slowly) waking up to the harsh reality that Barack Hussein Obama and his Chicago henchmen are not working for them but for some elitist goal of a national utopia that never existed - and never will.

Many wealthy liberal elitists who read the NYT have the best health care on the planet, and although they like Obama (maybe less now than 3 months ago) they do not want the quality of their health care diminished by government control, period.
