Something bad is taking place at the border.
"We're seeing a lot of MS-13,” says Agent Mike Scioli of the U.S. Border Patrol. "They're typically known to be guns for hire, they're known to smuggle narcotics and human traffic across the border illegally."
MS-13 stands for Mara Salvatrucha, the most violent street gang in the western hemisphere.
Last week Border Patrol agents arrested two MS-13 members: one in Tucson and one in Nogales.
The Nogales arrestee was identified by his tattoos - - the letter M on his right bicep; the letter S on his left; the number 1 on his right triceps; the number 3 on his left.
"He was already deported from Los Angeles back to Mexico and he was attempting to re-enter to join back up with his gang," Scioli says.
Tucson's Border Patrol Sector is the busiest in the U.S. Last year its agents arrested about 317,000 illegal immigrants. Scioli says 16 percent, or almost 50,000, had some type of criminal record.
But the presence of MS-13 merits special concern.
They specialize in transporting arms and drugs across the border. Most of the weapons come from El Salvador - - the homeland of most of the gang members - - where a hand grenade sells for $10; an M-16 rifle for $200; and an AK-47 for $1,500. The Maras have made a fortune by purchasing such weapons and selling them to members of other street gangs throughout the U.S.

I argued with my Tom when he said something akin to the above. I was wrong and after all the decapitations’ I’m onboard with yours and Tom’s very reasoned logic. If your home was overrun by an invasion of man eating predators you would do something quick and lethal to save your home and your life. This is war!

I’ve just purchased the final part of my first “assault” rifle (AR-15) at the repeated urgings of a friend of mine. I now have no regrets and thank him for his advice, especially considering the gun-grabbers in power now. I’d urge everyone, particularly those in border states, to arm themselves and get training.

One point I'll give Lou, at least he finally noticed what was happening to this country.
Limbaugh on the other hand was eventually forced to talk about it...By the time Limbaugh got around to it, millions of illegals were shoulder to shoulder marching through our streets, as the rest of America stood gawking with their jaws in the laps.
Even to this day, the Republican insiders will generally ignore this country killing invasion, while their groupies swoon over images of pretty women.

Few listened, and even fewer heeded the warnings.
George Putnam used to say he warned about the illegal alien invasion for the past 30 or more years, but obviously our government paid no heed. Now we are paying for this disaster. We can thank the presidents, Clinton, the Bushes, and now Obama.
The fedgov and it's representatives discredited Putnam and others. The fedgov aided and abetted all this. This was brought to us by those that were supposed to be representing us.
The point is that many people are aware. However our elites want the illegal invasion for reasons that are at variance with the well-being of the American people.
The "elites" don't want to offend Mexican American voters. That's what's going on.
Obamacare was supposed to unionize the whole health care system under the SEIU. The SEIU is already busy taking over nursing unions and hospital worker unions on the west coast. I don't know what is going on the rest of the country, but I'm sure it's not much different. If Obamacare went through, it would unionize the whole system, including the clerks who ration the health care, Harry Reid has promised to insert union language into the Senate version which would push through fast track (the alternative to card check). Nevermind that the unions are exempt from Obamacare, at least until their contracts run out.
Quit deporting them.

Reynosa is the sister city to McAllen, Texas, USA. Broad damn daylight to boot. The pictures from the McAllen paper showed the Mexican army blocking the bridge with some trucks and on our side guess who was there? The county sherriff and his deputies with the firearms that a sherriff would carry. This was no gang banger shootout with the cops, this was a narco gang with the confidence to take on that country’s Army. And we continue on ignoring the mexican border. If the mexican army is defeated, then the narco gangs openly run the country. And since dc isn’t paying attention, what is to stop them from spilling over to here. They don’t respect our border because we don’t make them respect it.
