Classic liberal Dem...anyone who dares disagree with them and exercises their right to dissent is labeled an industry financed shill and agitator.

Hey Dick, a message for you...a lot of people do not want your socialized health system and we are going to fight you on it. That tongue lashing Sphincter got in Philly is only the beginning. People have finally had enough. You don't like it, retire.

I actually believe the latter will happen before the former...but that’s just me. :)

“Everyone on this site is a hardworking, law abiding, freedom loving citizen. How about you?”

Well, I’m certainly a freedom loving citizen. But I’m not willing to abide by every law enacted by those who despise freedom and seek to destroy it. It appears I’m not the only one here who feels the same way.

They are fools if they think this is Astroturf!

Amazing that the crowd that invented astroturfing is now indignant in their belief it is being used against them. Where was the outrage at moveon.org, code pink, Citizens for the American Way or any one of a hundred Soros funded groups that sought to advance the liberal agenda while shouting down conservatives. How about the treatment conservatives receive when trying to speak on college campuses. MSNBC, that bastion of diversity that never invites a conservative guest on any of its flagship shows, is perhaps the worst offender. Maddow is still harping about Bush a full 8 months after "her" guy was sworn in.

Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) warned other members of Congress against antagonistic audience members at healthcare town hall events who may be funded by industry interest groups.
"I hope my colleagues won't fall for a sucker punch like this," Durbin told the liberal blog
[St]inkProgress.
"These health insurance companies and people like them are trying to load these town meetings for visual impact on television," he added.

Well, Dick...,

Since you're treading on thin ice here throwing around unsupported accusations...so here's one for you that has at least as much chance of being accurate as your rehearsed regurgitations :

There's a bit o' info on you I came across some moons ago by way of one of your former classmates in Illinois, but never mentioned to anyone else because while your old classmate would know, it's just gossip to me. Lucky for you there wasn't u-tube back then.

The classmate said you and some fellows you hung around with were into playing "polo," but it involved cruising the streets with sticks in a vehicle, not riding ponies, and the targets were live.

I'm sure your voters would be thrilled to know about the allegations of what was done to people that didn't look like you for "entertainment."

Now if you weren't a "progressive" commie-loving hyperbole-pushing dirt bag who compared US troops to NAZIs, Soviets and the Khmer Rouge I would have dismissed the claims outright as ridiculous and forgot them. But the source is a person of good reputation, while you are such a scum sucking bottomfeeding stereotypical two-faced fork-tongued politician that your alleged participation in that kind of activity doesn't surprise me one bit. And to think you were so worked up on Abu Ghraib. Did it remind you of E St Louis?

Dick, when you spoke of the "culture of corruption" you must have been projecting.

WASHINGTON - In January 2004, Sen. Dick Durbin and his wife spent six days in Honolulu at the expense of the privately funded Aspen Institute think tank where he attended a conference on U.S.-China relations.
Durbin and his wife, Loretta, traveled to Venice, Italy, where they spent 14 days in August of the same year [2004] for a conference on U.S.-Russia relations, also paid for by the Aspen Institute.
The Illinois Democrat also visited South Africa on the tab of other private groups last year [2004], according to his personal financial disclosure statement released Tuesday. Durbin also traveled to India and Bangladesh in February 2004 in a trip that was mistakenly left off the report, his staff said. He planned to file an amendment later Tuesday. ...------- "Groups fund Durbin's trips to exotic places ," BY DORI MEINERT , COPLEY NEWS SERVICE via Lincoln Courier, 06/16/2005

Aren’t the insurance companies the ones who are giving money to left?

Why yes, "Progressive" Corp comes to mind.

You can't give Obama all the credit for this but since 1988, hard-working, law abiding, tax paying citizens actually FEAR the workings of the government. We know anything the government does is either going to cost us our jobs, our freedoms or our money.

That's some big thing there, lawful American citizens actually fearing the government of the people, by the people and for the people.

I like my Senator David Vitter and my Congressman Steve Scalise but I am thinking about sending Mary Landrieu a “Happy Retirement” card in advance telling her bye-bye if she votes for government healthcare, cap and trade of Sotomayor (sp).

Can they be that obtuse to believe that they have all the answers and we just need to go along with it?

this is war...it is the war of the Democratic against the Baby Boom...who have paid into and now are poised to reap the “benefits” of Social Security and Medicare...it is the war of those who created these fraudulent programs ...which have fleeced 45 years of taxes from the Baby Boom..and never intended to grant them the “benefits” they were conned into allowing to be withheld from their paychecks. It is a personal war...because by hastening them to their graves...they intend to fleece their descendants of their estates.

Millions of Baby Boomers and their children will die because of the liberal policies so many of them supported.

Millions of Baby Boomers, who have worked and paid taxes for decades, will be denied treatment (or “assisted” in eliminating their “burden on society”) so that illegals can be treated.

They will reap what they’ve sown.

God Help Us.
