If one’s computer had been seized by Obama’s DOT, what would the signs be? I ran Spybot which turned up nothing after I poked around on that site just out of curiosity.

One person by the way who does not want his name revealed.

Hoakie, they had on a cyber expert who said there is software out there that can avoid government detection.
My concern is if I was a dealer would I still be obligated to waiver my rights if I agreed to it.
The judge on said only a federal judge can accept a waiver of right.

Your computer would reveal nothing because the government has access (by cooperation) with source codes.
Someone owes Bush & Rumsfeld and opology.

Never ever run as an administrator user. Always use a 'standard user' for your browsing.
Of course if you click the "accept" button, you are in trouble.

Makes you feel better about getting screwed. Like changing "government-run healthcare" to "public option". Or "global warming" to "climate change". Obfuscate the meaning and change it to something sounds less menacing. Castor oil? Naw -- that's a legume milkshake!
I'm feeling better already, how about you?

“A security warning on the CARS.gov dealer support page that stated computers logged into the system were considered property of the federal government has been removed. We are working to revise the language. The language was posted on the portion of the Web site accessible by car dealers and not the general public.”
Oh... I feel much better now. They are changing the “language”, but does that mean they are still going to “Twilight Zone” your computer?

If you are reading this be advised that I, isthisnickcool, now own your computer, everything in it plus that old Beatles 45 you have of "Hey Jude" in the attic. Oh, and if you have any mid 70's motocross bikes in good condition? Those are mine too. Especially CZ's, Makos, Husky's and Penton's. No Suzuki's though, I don't want them, keep em! Oh, add Bultacos to that list of what I own of yours. Especially any factory Pursangs.
Wow, this is easy. I'll be over to collect my stuff from you soon.

Been through a lot in 70 years, and have kept great blood pressure because I don't scare easily..If I were going to quote scripture...I would say I have been given a spirit of faith not fear....Just quietly live my life and have a loaded gun ready.....Been a Rush listener since the 1990’s and lived through Jimmy Carter, riots and the burnings in the cities across this country, assassination of 2 Kennedy's, Martin L. King, and an attempt on Wallace. Riots at the Democrat convention in the 60’s and that is just off the top of my head, Oh yea, campus riots, attacks on Recruiters for the military and people yelling baby killers at returning vets...What are your credentials for being scared?

This NXbit can be used on home computers that are not networked? Does it work with all OS? I was trying to research intrusion protection systems after listening to Beck earlier, but it was a little confusing to someone limited understanding of all this computer tech stuff.
Also, I believe my pc is probably running as an admin user. How do you change it?
Thanks for your expertise, Tarpon. :~)
