Did they mention that none of the threats are racially motivated?

I attribute this more to leftist spinning. (Our president is the messiah. Look how many people don’t like him)

Of course the left want you to believe that radical right wingers want him dead.

Honestly, aside from those who are truly insane, who the heck would threaten the president of the US?

Does this include non-citizens and people in other countries? I find it very hard to believe that any more than a few nut cases would actually make a threat.

Are these threats, as determined by the Secret Service, or are these “threats” the Secret Service are told to investigate?

I’m thinking Joe the plumber.

Probably the same curve for any president. From one threat a month to, say, 4 or so.

Out of curiosity (and excluding the “film” Hollyweird made), how many death threats were there against George W Bush? and Bill Clinton?

Hey SS ... just think ... Caligula ... but in all reality, it is better to have this fool show his true colors and fail miserably on his own .... as long as it doesn't do irreparable damage to the nation.

However, let it be known ... It will be a LONG time until an other member of his "demographic" is trusted with such high office. I for one will NEVER EVER give the benefit of the doubt to a member of the group that voted 98% for FUBO as I used too. I suspect there are a LOT of Americans that feel as I do about that

I take this with a grain of salt. By “threats” they are probably referring to kooky letter writers and keyboard commandos that have neither the intention nor the skill to do anything except holler.

I am NOT glad to hear this. No one should want our President assassinated, regardless of who occupies the office. And I want BHO to be in good health when his one-term presidency comes to an end, and beyond when he is the toast of the Leftist speakers' forum.

There are many more ways to make threats these days than there used to be, I suppose, which may account for some of the reported increase. Twitter, FaceBook, texting, etc.

And there are a lot of idiots out there, unfortunately.

I seriously doubt that. They are only looking for a “RiechStag fire” incident to go after those that oppose obama.

Liberals know that if, God forbid, something did happen to him that he would be instantly canonized as a Saint for all time, just like JFK, even though his is scum....JUST like JFK.

Is there a correlation between threats and attempts? If so, the concern is understandable.

Mathematically then, as the number of threats increase the likelihood of a threat being carried out approaches 1.

Things must be really looking down in the Obama war-room.

Use “secret service” to establish credibility

Use a 4x multiplier for effect

Let racial bigotry simmer as the unspoken undercurrent

It has all the earmarks of a sympathy play: credible players, exaggeration, guilt.

The polling data must be worse than anyone in the press will admit. I think it’s BS - someone has redefined “threat” or made this data up. The people ain’t buying what he’s selling - so ratchet up the emotion.

Must really suck to be a Secret Service agent now. One of their major responsibilities was to keep unstable nutbars who shouldn't be allowed to hold sharp objects away from the President. Those people are now in this administration’s inner circle.

To the left, merely saying something like "I don't like the way President Obama is doing things" constitutes a "threat" in their enfeebled minds.

Remember, these are the same idiots that called veterans and pro-lifers a terrorist "threat." Of course "threats" have gone up when you label all who disagree with you as a "threat."
