Notice the subtle change to from "has released his birth certificate" to "his birth certificate there." Of course the fact that Sec. of State spokeswoman Janice Obuko just stated that she has "seen" the document proves that the original, long form BC has not been released.

Anti-birthers are claiming the BC is a forgery and have come forth with some guy from Australia who claims the forgery is based on his BC. I think it much more likely his BC is a forgery based on the Obama one just to throw investigators off the trail. I don't trust these people and my very first inclination is consider anything they say or produce to be of very questionable value, accuracy or veracity.

I’m personally convinced the whole “birther” thing helps Obama, the same way having Michael Moore and Cindy Sheehan and the “911 truthers” seen as represening the left helped Bush win reelection. For that reason alone, if I was Obama, I would never release my birht certificate. The people in the middle are rapidly realizing how dangerous Obama’s policies are. The only thing that will stop a conservative resurgence in 2010 is if they view conservatives as a bunch of shrill, crazy kooks.

Incorrect...it became a Commonwealth Republic in Dec.1964...and one of the prerequisites was that an applicant country had to be a republic already...interestingly enough, one of the sources for this was Wikepedia...but, it doesn't seem to be on the current Kenya page there. Another interesting fact is that one party rule was incorporated into the Kenyan constitution in Oct. 1964.

If the MSM, which certainly has enough people on the ground in Kenya, doesn't soon put other documents from the same period showing conclusively that the Taitz document has feature or features that are not possible, then I am going to assume that the Taitz document doesn't have any discrepancies with other period documents.

If the AP or the New York Times can debunk this by showing that there are discrepancies with known, authenticated documents, they will do so post haste.

If they don't do this debunking in the next 24 hours, then I think that there's a reasonable chance that the document doesn't have such discrepancies.

When I first saw that Ms. Taitz had this on her website, I thought it would be her undoing. When I read, however, that she filed suit to have the document verified... I realized that she is smarter than I thought.

I always knew she was brave, but this is a genius move... don’t know if it will work, but I appreciate that there is someone who is covering all the bases on this, no matter where it goes.
