I am wondering: Obama and Al Gore think huge carbon footprints are sinful. But they apparently endorsed a private jet flying all the way across the ocean with one guy...to pick up two women.
Can we measure how much carbon was put into our atmosphere for these liberals' jaunt?

It is entirely appropriate for everyone to point out Al Gores hypocrisy on this especially since there are much more fuel efficient airplanes THAT COULD HAVE BEEN USED INSTEAD!!!
BTW how do you know this wasn't a set up all the way and that the capture and eventual “rescue” of these women wasn't orchestrated by Gore and Clinton all along? What other excuse did these women have for casually wandering into NK? The only other explanation is that they are basically brain dead stupid. Doesn’t say much for them either way.

From my understanding they were on the China/NK border doing some film work on the regime, we aren’t even sure they actually entered NK territory before being captured.

The idea, (however much made somewhat tongue in cheek) that we should discuss how much carbon is emitted while rescuing someone is on the face moronic.
It makes as much sense as asking the question, “How much carbon would be emitted if an ambulance had to come to help someone in the event of a car wreck...

If a reporter from the WSJ was kidnapped I wouldn’t immediately think Murdoch had something to do with it. It isn’t like these reporters work directly under Gore, they just work for a station he owns.
