Getting locked out of a meeting is better then getting in. It makes more of an impact.
I’ve been to one town hall meeting many years ago with my Congressman and there were about 20 people there. The only controversy was a Million Mom bot complaining that he was too pro-gun. I doubt he shows his face now.

Phew, that's pretty dumb.
'twould be more intelligent to wimp out and cancel. People will be outraged for about 5 min, then forget. Not saying I approve of the tactic, just saying that it would be more politically expedient.
This, however, is an event that will stick around.

When our Representatives make it clear that they are not listening to us, are not representing us, and do not seem to worry about the next election cycle ...
They are telling us that our system of government is totally broken. You can vote if you want, but these people have their friends count the votes.
