What constitutes the attack? I don’t see much besides a general hubbub.
Also, it seems like there is not much in this that constitutes a “town meeting”. I get the sense that it’s supposed to be a sort of rally, and is stacked that way with operatives, and the conservative faction is crashing it. A very righteous and necessary action in this case, it seems to me. If the proceedings were not interrupted it would be filmed and presented on the “news” as solid “grass roots support” - Har de har har har.
It all comes out in the wash.
That is my take on what is going on. I think the pep talk the obumber admin gave to the dems yesterday was to setup staged events and call them town hall meetings. The only recourse we have to get our message out is to make a seen outside. It's not like the media is going to give us a fair shake.
Contrary to your belief, you cannot “crash” a PUBLIC MEETING.
Attack may be too strong a word. What you are seeing is intolerance. That is the start of other evils.
I believe that before this ends you will see real attacks, and possibly worse.
