They are movinfg to small rooms so we can not get in. Plan on surrounding the building and protesting outside. That is what we had to do in Tampa. A few of us got in and it was enough to run the Skunk off. No questions were alloed anyway and it was not even her meeting. We found out at 8am she was going to speak at a ACORN forum in YBOR. By 6pm 2000 of us were there and engaged with the enemy.

Great job by the folks in Tampa.

We also recently learned that buried in the bill is a special retirement and healthcare plan for union workers and their spouses. They get the same private healthcare as Congress - paid for by taxpayers - you it’s in there.

Got a link for that union healthcare special? I’d love to pass that around to some of my libtard friends.

I live (if you can call it living) in NY, on Long Island, and just read in today’s NY Post that my Congressman (Steve Israel) held an invitation-only “roundtable” meeting to discuss healthcare reform on Thursday night. I had called that very morning, to ask if he would be holding any meetings to discuss this topic, and I was told that none were scheduled as of that time. I guess they forgot to mention the secret, invitation-only event that was publicized only after it occurred. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised. My senator has hung up on me, and now my Congressman is telling me bald-faced lies. So much for that “representation” thing I read about somewhere, once upon a time...

I think every single commentator I've heard in the media (not to mention the FReepers) has said that they've *never* seen anything like what's going on right now in the govt. The corruption, lies and this idea that we, the voters, are stupid is just overwhelming.

It makes everyone I know angry and I think just about the whole country is feeling the same way. Something *may* be about to change, even if it takes until 2010.

But it might happen sooner...this is going to be one long, hot summer as long as we can keep the pressure on and growing.

We, the voters (or a majority of us, anyway) ARE stupid! it was proven the last two election cycles.

I am sure both sides were well represented. (/sarcasm)
