Why is it that we Conservatives allow the word "Redneck"?

I would love to be called a Redneck because I can always use a good laugh...same goes for cracker,,,,,just don't you dare call me a liberal or democrat....I’d have to throw a 70year old woman's type punch in your face...

A redneck was a person from the south (or a farmer) that spent his time with his head down working the fields. Therefore he had a redneck...It was suppose to be an insult..but rednecks don’t insult easy...But don’t you dare call him a liberal or socialist...you might get shot. He is an American........

I was brought up with the same sticks and stones saying...In other words, don't have such a thin skin...But the liberals are the thin skinned ones...If I offend you, its your problem...If you try to insult me, good luck. I don't give you the power to insult me....I once said to one of my sons, quit whining like a liberal..It does shut one up..:o) Now that is an insult..

We don’t really mind the term redneck because we are not a bunch of thin skinned whiney pansies who get upset over a name. Get my drift. I do work outside quite a bit and with Scotch Irish/German heritage, my neck gets real red. Also, a lot of rednecks were and are leathernecks. We take care of our own and dont worry about names thrown at us. Makes no difference.
