A girl from Malden asked President Obama a question at Tuesday's town hall meeting in New Hampshire about the signs outside "saying mean things" about his health care proposal.
Eleven-year-old Julia Hall asked: "How do kids know what is true, and why do people want a new system that can -- that help more of us?''
The question opened the door for the president to respond to what he called an "underlying fear'' among the public "that people somehow won't get the care they need.''
Julia's mother was an early Obama supporter in Massachusetts during the presidential election, so she had previously met First Lady Michelle Obama, the Obama daughters Sasha and Malia, and Vice President Joe Biden.

For some reason, I visualized Shirley Temple doing her usual irresistible schtick from a 30s movie: “ Mister Obama,
why are they saying such MEAN things about you and your health plan? It’s even meaner than when my dollies argue with each other when I’m asleep!!!!!”

Is anyone really surprised? The whole room was filled with Obama shills. I didn’t bother to watch.
Someone needs to send this to RUSH...he quoted the girl today more than once....
I am surprised he did not bring her up, set her on his knee as he knelt down and wiped away a tear then gave her a hug.......

How nice! The daughter of a woman who was a delegate to the Democrat Convention asks a question about the meanies questioning the Messiah....
Send the info to Rush, Hannity, Levin, Beck, Savage, and all the rest of the talk show hosts. The truth needs to get out which will only add to Zero’s lies and deceit.

That was what settled it for me. Everyone was smiling and applauding him like a North Korean pep rally. Nobody asked the sort of chapter-and-verse questions that were asked at the congressional townhalls and when he stopped to call on the cute little kid my mind was made up.
This townhall was no different from any of his other scripted appearances. I don’t think anyone was fooled.
I wonder just how many people he convinced with his opening claims that the recession is over and his porkulus was the cause. Sure was bizarre listening to him flog the insurance companies like a latter-day Father Coughlin. I gather the insurance companies have failed to submit totally to him as yet.
Savage made a reference to the girl’s question today too, and hinted that the town halls were scripted, but I don’t think he knew the girl was an actual plant. It will be interesting to see tomorrow if he hears of it and comments on it.
But this wasn’t prescreened. Nah. Could someone be telling him through his ear plug or on the teleprompter who to call on? It looked very fake to me.
