BIG SKY, Mont. – Fighting for control of the health care debate, President Barack Obama is using political tactics and rhetorical devices honed in his White House campaign to regain the upper hand over increasingly vocal critics.
In person and over the Internet, Obama is trying to counter intense public skepticism that's flared nationwide in recent weeks over Democrats' plans to overhaul the nation's health care system. It's his top domestic priority and arguably his most challenging political fight yet as president, in no small part because of the vast number of diverse stake-holders involved.
Familiar tools from the Obama candidacy are being used in the struggle, adapted to his office: among them the town hall meetings with his sleeves rolled up, a quick-response Web site to douse critics' claims, chain e-mails and a populist pitch against the entrenched powers in Washington.

It’s one of the problems with Progressives/Socialists attempting to govern. In order for them to have a message, they must have an enemy. Usually the enemy is the establishment, but when THEY become the establishment, they have no one against whom to rebel. That’s why Obama has to create villains, whether Big Pharma, Big Talk Radio, Big Business, Big “fill in the blank’.
The Community Organizer/Lightworker knows two things:
1) Invent a strawman to focus people’s anger and hatred
2) Let other’s craft legislation. That way 0bama has zero responsibility and will claim credit for any and all good outcomes

EVERY TIME the overwhelming majority of Americans see your face plastered all over the TV and the schlock that passes for news, EVERY TIME WE HEAR YOUR VOICE and hear you LYING TO US we switch the channel, shut off the TV and TUNE YOU OUT! The same goes for your "crap and trade" bill along with your amnesty for illegal aliens. Americans want NO PART OF THEM, PERIOD!

Total strawman crock. There are lots of folks who don't want to give up more freedom to big government.
When campaign fatigue finally sets in on the Joker’s base of apathetic lowlifes (the kind ACORN buys for a pack of smokes) he’ll find he has less support than he thinks. Certainly not enough support to command a ‘mandate’.

All this talk of his intelligence. Humbug, I think he is an "empty suit", a marionette being controlled by strings in the hands of those who molded him.
Was it just me or did BOzo have ear pieces in his ears. When he turned sideways something looked off color in his ear holes. Was he being fed info on who to pick in the audience plus talking points to questions. He would pick people out by clothes color and hats.
Didn’t notice that, but with those ears, he could have a couple of Bose speakers lodged in there and we would never know it...
