This isn't good, however why would the first elected IOTUS even use the title of “Czar” for his unelected cronies and put up with the scrutiny that comes with it, or is the IOTUS so focused that Czar is the only title he could think of?

This administration is amazing in a fearful sort of way.

Not vetted by Congress, no oversight by Congress, they’re a bunch of loose cannons running loose.

And prolly completely unconstitutional.

How come the Repubs didn’t scream bloody murder when he anointed the first one? Way too late now.

Does anyone know who which president created the first “czar?”

Franklin D Roosevelt.

And us "seasoned ones" know how that fart in church went over throughout the decades because of the FDR directives.

I just counted. Russia only had 32 czars and it spanned 592 years (1325 - 1917). We have over that in less than 6 months. Although, each month with Caligula, has seemed at least a century long.

GOP Rep. Jack Kingston of Georgia is sponsoring a Czar Accountability and Reform Actof 2009 that would “would bar the use of appropriated funds to pay either expenses or salaries of members of task forces, councils, or similar offices established by the president and headed by a person appointed inappropriately to such a post without Senate advice and consent.”

Here's an article about this by Michelle Malkin.

Support the Czar Accountability and Reform Act of 2009

They are probably all Democrats or Communists and thus probably have not paid taxes. Elite leftists are Exempt.

Thanks for the update. My head was spinning as it was. Now we have 18 more to digg around in.

I bet Obama’s strategy is to overwhelm us with these people so it’s hard to focus on exactly what is going on. There’s just so much abuse of power going on, it’s hard to know where to start.

Sounds like his shadow cabinet....or just a way of rewarding certain donors with cushy jobs....or a bureaucratic way of paying lip service to lots of campaign promises for a president whose grip on policy isn’t really as good as advertised. People have been complaining that these positions have been sort of borderline extra-constitutional, perhaps. But I wonder if they have much in the way of real power, and if not, what the heck are they for?

How are the CZAR salaries and office expenses paid for? Does it come out of the White House budget? Where is the line in the BUDGET to cover these buffoons that are outside the oversight of CONGRESS? Congress is the only entity that can appropriate funds - where is it coming from? Someone please answer this.
