I am fed up with the federal government and the liberal media trying to enforce their anti second-amendment agenda. In 2000, the socialist Michael Moore made his slanderous documentary which blamed all of us responsible gun owners and NRA members for the tragedy at Columbine. In 2004 the Democrats failed to put a very strong anti second amendment senator in the White House. In 2008, the republicans put up an anti second amendment presidential nominee and the Democrats put up the most extreme nominee and vice president since McGovern. The only hope us gun owners have is to support Palin in 2012. I want every gun owner to post that agrees with me to bump this thread and to tell us how the government is hurting us hunters.
They may take mine but I won’t be alive when they do.
Beware of the Constitutional Convention. It will be the liberals’ next step to try to rewrite the Constitution - without gun rights.
Can you just imagine the percentage of the population that might willingly give up their guns?

The govt. may not come for our guns after all. They’re just going to try to make it impossible to get ammo. So don’t waste any.
The 2nd Amendment exists to protect the 1st and all other amendments, and to allow the people, in the extremist of cases, the ability to take back their government. It isn’t really about modern day hunting as the vast majority aren’t doing it for their normal food supply.
Course, we may start having to in the future.
If there’s a constitutional convention and it replaces the Constitution with liberal garbage, you will see a decent number of state that will secede at that point because they will want NOTHING to do with the new piece of crap. They will stay under the current Constitution and hopefuly name themselves the Constitutional United States or something to that effect.
Then of course the guns will be needed to protect that new nation. God help us.

Its not impossible to get illegal drugs and it won’t be impossible to get illegal ammo .

We are only two states away from a constitutional convention. Even if the Dems get a con con the changes to the constitution still require approval of 3/4 of the states.
I’m sure they’ve already spent millions on the project.
Methinks there’s a large contingent that WANT confiscations just so they can rail against them. The logic of the lead post reflects this mindset.
There is nothing indicating Biden will run in ‘12, nor that he will do so on a platform of going house-to-house to confiscate firearms. And of course any politician stupid enough to try, and powerful enough to make it begin, would find such an operation shut down real quick.
Yes I know it happened in post-Katrina NOLA. That was a small area under extreme circumstances, and the perpetrators didn’t get very far (and, interestingly, it seems nobody pulled a “FMCDH”) before others in government made it stop.

I think 5% would..maybe more up in NY State and Mass.
