You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around. That's what it's all about!
Dems must have "cover" to vote for the "reform" - that's what it's all about! "Go it alone" is a bluff to blame the Republicans for death of "bipartisan" bill.
Baucus is Dem Senator from Montana, which is why Obama was doing a townhall there.

Even Jon Stewart of the Daily Show says, Remember the Bush team?
They just can't slam Obama without turning it into a "Republicans are evil" riff.

You know the old saying, “The softer the product, the stronger the sell.” The product is faulty. No salesman on earth can overcome that. We’ve all had too much of “fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.”

“political ambition”? It’s called “political dictatorship”. These people have no right to vote on anything concerning our health care. Check the Constitution and show me were it states that.

That quote about "Where is the transformer" reminded me of this pic from a South Park Episode ("The Coon" for those interested - see it at South Park studios online).
The "ordinary" Democrat activists are basically freaking out now. They believed all the LIES about being elected by an "overwhelming majority" and that the "public" was all gung-ho about Obama. What they fail to realize is that half of the votes were most likely fraudulent, and the other half are people who either don't really care (and are thus uninformed), or are people who actually BELIEVED the typical campaign lies and promises (the younger crowd, I would suspect -- or the idealistic hippies).
THAT is why this healthcare bill is failing -- because the PEOPLE of the US are NOT in favor of the government making our decisions for us... I think there are enough "blue dog" democrats, and honest Americans (even those who vote Dem due to confusion or family loyalty to the party), who fully recognize what Obama is doing to our country now...
If there is any consolation in all of this, it's that more people are "AWAKE" now, and are more aware than ever that the media (and our politicians) are for the majority just a bunch of lying hacks...

in the libtard, mind, they’ve already accepted compromise by accepting Public Option instead of Single Payer. One more step in that direction and they’d be giving up the ballgame.

Oh the townhall that was secret; atleast the plans, and cost mega bucks of the people to lie to the people.
Did we the people authorize 400 rooms and lobster? I think not. Obama is not of America. He needs to go.

A Healthcare Reform bill before our congress-critters who have no idea what's actually in the bill. They haven't read it which raises the question... WHO wrote the bill?
Our critters in Washington have demonstrated that they don't have the intellect to write or comprehend the bill.
Again... WHO wrote the bill?

The Senate Finance Committee. Key players: Baucus and Grassley. Baucus has to give Grassley something that Republicans Hatch, Kyl, Enzi, or Cornyn can agree to sign. Which Grassley, Hatch, Kyl, Enzi or Cornyn should avoid at all costs.
If they know what's good for them...and the party...and the country.
They should know that, once the Conference Committee is convened, it will be the House bill that survives -- regardless of what a milquetoast measure the Senate might pass.
Why try to take credit for "bi-partisanship" when it simply insures your eventual defeat?
