We don't have a Whole Foods here but there are natural food stores where one can buy 'organic' items. However, off grade passes for organic no matter how it was produced.

This is a recurring theme in Liberal politics. Too bad Whole Foods is having a rude awakening.

John Mackeys point of personal health responsibility through healthy living is key to a healthier life and less dependence on the medical system; that other liberal groups attack Whole Foods is just bizzare, and begs the question, what is their mtovation for health care “reform”.

The other paradox is conservatives, who should be practicing Mackeys philosophy as one means of contributing to a rational health care system, as well as their own health, are as rare as three dollar bills in such whole foods establishments.

Couldn't agree more! Unfortunately the closest Whole Foods to me is more than 100 miles away or I'd be there weekly. John Mackey clearly understands the science behind a healthy diet. If Americans would only wake up to the diet propaganda delivered to us by the USDA and start eating a healthy diet our national health care costs would plummet. Why so many otherwise intelligent and informed conservatives ignore the science baffles me.

Bears repeating!

I like your list of 8 essentials to save the nation. As to: “In this “supposed” recession, I see blacks driving around in Cadillac Escalades and BMW’s”, I’m sure you see plenty of whites driving around in their fancy cars too, in this supposed recession, right, and what of it? People haven’t yet given up their wheels, but that’s certainly coming also. People are just really starting to hunker down.

They’ll have the “electorate” thinking, once again, that they’re brilliant, really smart, enlightened and cool when they pull the lever for Liberals.

Have you seen the trend? The trend is our friend:

In the immortal words of one of the greatest of all philosophers...

“It ain’t over until it’s over.”

(Wait until the election cycle gets to the wire. You’ll see a marked change in the opinions of all those “brilliant” Democrats out there.”

IMHO

I’m all for winning elections - or having electoral success - but I’m also for the cleaning up of the Conservative message - which I think we’re seeing now, on a wholesale basis...that will accrue its own benefits long term to this nation.

Given that the Left eats their own, that offers the possibility of many more conservatives!

Great article, thanks.

When I lived in Florida, the nearest Whole Foods (in Winter Park) was always full of customers. We have one here in Lexington (they bought out a local health food store last year), but as you probably know, most of Kentucky is quite conservative; we were the first state to vote “red” on Election Day in 2008. Imagine the kind of business they’d do if they catered to conservatives, rather than liberals.

:’) If they catered to Al Gore, they’d have to change the name to Hole Foods. ;’)

Alinsky and his ilk never had any use for “liberals” who believed in free speech. To him, they were just useful to achieve short term objectives. Liberals are always duped by Leftists, they are either too ignorant, too ashamed to admit it, if they ever do.

Obama has brought this realization to many more liberals than any other President.
