Antagonism between Israel and Sweden over Swedish media accusation that IDF soldiers sold Arab body parts is heating up, in light of evidence that Sweden’s government funded the “research” for the story. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is expected to demand a Swedish government condemnation of the accusations.
News of the funding was broken Sunday morning by Maariv/NRG. Maariv’s correspondent in Sweden, Liran Lotker, reports that most of the material in last week’s controversial article is old, having appeared in a book written in 2001 by the author of the article. The book, entitled Inshallah, was funded by various bodies, including the Foreign Ministry of Sweden, Swedish labor unions, and some organizations based in the Palestinian Authority-controlled areas.

Despite contentions to the contrary, it has long been cited that anti-semitism is not only on the rise in Sweden and the UK, but in Europe, in general. It is a mix of classical ‘old’ anti-semitism and a brand being called ‘new’ anti-Jewishness.

JERUSALEM – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday called for the Swedish government to condemn an article in a Stockholm newspaper suggesting Israeli troops harvested the organs of Palestinians they killed.
An official present at the weekly session of the Israeli Cabinet said Netanyahu told his ministers he did not expect the Swedish government to apologize for the article in the tabloid Aftonbladet but he did expect it to take a stand.
“We’re not asking the Swedish government for an apology, we’re asking for their condemnation,” the official — speaking on condition of anonymity in keeping with Cabinet rules — quoted Netanyahu as saying.
The prime minister added that the story was reminiscent of medieval libels that Jews killed Christian children for their blood, said the official.
Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt has already rejected Israeli calls for an official condemnation.
The article implied without evidence that there was a link between charges of organ theft from Palestinians and the recent arrest in the U.S. of an American Jew suspected of illicit organ trafficking.

It is a fatal error to cater to Muslims. Eventually they will eat you alive. Might take decades of Muslim immigration and high birth rates but it will happen. Once they are 20% of Sweden’s population they will be an extreme pain in the a$$ and impossible to deal with. Demands will escalate from there

That this was a case of the Marxist dog wagging the Islamic tail was really obvious right from the start. The chief editor of Aftonbladet's "culture" pages (the word culture used in a very lose sense indeed) is a rabid communist. Boström is also from the far left, etc.

Don't know, but they are much fewer than the number of muslim immigrants. The latter now make up a sizeable voting block, and without their votes the left parties (Labour, "former" commies and the "Greens") will not win the election next year.
This is another background to the present affair. Our ambassador in Israel contacted the FO before making her statement on the article. Unfortunately, according to sources in the FO, her query was missed and not decided on the level it should have been.
Once the Ambassador's condemnation of the article had been published, she and Mr Bildt were attacked by the foreign policy spokesman from the Labour party. Exactly what happened then is unclear, but either the FO decided to distance themselves from the ambassador since they felt she had put their boss (Mr Bildt) in a bad position vis-à-vis his political rivals, or they were ordered to do so by Mr Bildt.
Whatever the truth, a very cowardly and immoral action in any case.
It may have been deliberate and premeditated, but it’s an error, and it will prove fatal.
Catering for Muslims is not a fatal error. This is a deliberate diabolical plan by Euro elites, from left and right alike. Politicians as diverse as D’Estaing and Palme planned for it almost 30 years ago. We are now bearing the fruits and we have seen nothing yet.

We should have rebelled too, against the dumping by Mexican of its unwanted. But instead we get Presidents (Clinton , Bush, Obama) who love this crap
