Let's go back to that "teachable moment." It was proclaimed by Barack Obama after he said that police in Cambridge, Mass., had acted "stupidly" in arresting Henry Louis Gates Jr. for essentially being black in his own house.
It has been a month now, and the one sure thing we have learned in this extended teachable moment is about Obama himself. He can't teach.

Even while he leads us into a joke of a disaster of a health care reform bill, I can’t help but feel a twinge of a desire to defend Obama’s Afghanistan policies against the liberals and cowards who fear some sacrifice.
Although it is just deserts, perhaps, for the beating that Bush took from Obama himself on Iraq.
"Brilliance"? WHAT brilliance? Give me ONE example.
For the haloed one the question is not about a teachable moment, but has Obama ever had a learning moment.
I’ll second that. Brilliance? FAIL
Another lefty out there called him a stuffed suit PR ploy created by corporate raiders.
Bingo!
It's all Hollywood "charisma"...think Denzel Washington. In reality, Zero is a puffball upstairs.
Obama is NOT a teacher.
Obama is NOT a professor.
Obama IS a bully.
Bullies “teach” by negative conditioning. Disobey=Pain.
Obama is a bully who has been resisted and bullies don’t like that. It makes bullies cry.
The country needs health care reform and a success in Afghanistan, and both efforts are going in the wrong direction.
...and a success in Afghanistan...???
Little Richie Cohen actually wants to win a war???!!! How can this be?
Afghanistan is the good war, or broken clock, liberal punditry.
Dick Cohen is an obnoxious ass pirate, but he says what he believes, not what his party believes or his “people” believe. 90% of the time what he believes is the same thing as what Tim Kane believes, or what Howard Dean believes, or what Barak Obama Believes. But 10% of the time at least some of it is what I believe, and he’s not afraid of calling out Obama when it is. That’s the only reason I read him.
