Washington DC Tea Party September 12th (How many expected?)
N/A | August 28, 2009 | Wpin

Posted on 08/28/2009 3:28:35 PM PDT by Wpin

I spoke with a local (northern Illinois) organizer about the Washington DC protest on the 12th. She related that she had heard there may be over 500,000 protesters that day! This is incredible to me, but she sounded for real.

Has anyone else heard any figures?

BTW, I am going...my nineteen year old daughter wants to go also!

We need to do this now...I believe this will be one of our last chances to avoid serious bloodshed. We must prevail now! Let us all know if you are going or protesting elsewhere this day.

don’t worry, whatever the number, the MSM will take a pic of 3 people standing around and insist the protest was in the tens of tens../s (but not by much)

Today, I decided this was too important to miss. It’s a long drive, anybody along I-70 want to hitch a ride (must bathe regularly)?

In Minnesota here I think I have to go now and would need to hitch a ride. However I think I will go now and think others feel the same.

I heard on the radio that they had six are seven buses chartered in Greenville SC. That was ten days ago, and those had the fees paid, probably more by now.

Whatever the number, you can count on the Marxist lamestream media propaganda machine to show only five people and remark how racist they are.

My wife and I (Washington State) and sister-in-law (Oregon) will be there. We need AT LEAST 500,000 people there. Between one and two million would be even better.

I’ll be coming down from Maine via train on thursday and staying for the week-end.

This will be my 3rd march in my adult life. (I’m 57)

The 2nd was ‘Gathering of Eagles’ two years ago. Somebody introduced himself on that cold St. Patty’s day to tell me about ‘FREEPERS’. I’ve been here since.

Besides the March, there are two items on my ‘to-do’ list for that weekend.

Make it to Walter Reed on Friday night.

See the Constitution at the archives one more time before the current administration declares it null and void—and puts it away for good.

Eagles Up !

Maybe this thread will set record.
Maybe it’ll go to 500,000.

I can't make it to DC but I'll be at the one here in Vegas on Monday.

If business didn't suck I could actually afford DC but that is another story.

I'm thinking of a sign that reads "I should be at a meeting right now fighting with a vendor over prices, not fighting my Government for my liberty", (true by the way).

Any suggestions on an improvement for brevity?

I'll be taking pics so anyone who wants to see them, ping me to get on the list.

Remember the protest lead by Gandhi. It turned the world against Great Briton.

Ah, come on. I made that run straight through coming from Lake Charles...of course my passenger side was full of empty Red Bull cans by the time I got to DC. :)

It’s a 20 minute trip for me now though so I’ll be there.

FReeper view this. If you want to get your blood boiling, this will do it. I’ve watched it numerous times. If a repeat, still worth viewing. Tears in my eyes.
