I was the first pundit to predict that Barack Obama would become president. Here's what I think we can expect from this administration in the next six to eight weeks.
Never has an administration had more political firepower at their disposal yet been set to so totally fail in the next six to eight weeks. It is nearly a foregone conclusion. It is nearly unavoidable. And it defies all logic given the sizable majority the administration has in both houses of Congress.
Since I was the first pundit to predict Obama's presidency (back in December 2006) it behooves me to tell you the course I believe the next few weeks will take. Just think, it was only a few months ago that the left looked unstoppable in bringing about their plan to radicalize, nationalize, and federalize America.
1. Health Care's Long and Painful Death
Barring the existing possibility that the Democrats cram a reform bill down the throats of actively protesting Americans through an ultra-partisan process that would shut out conservatives and Republicans from even being allowed to contribute to the discussion, health care reform is dead.

From Kevins mouth to God’s ear!
The commies are way over-playing their hand.
They are juveniles and cannot help themselves.
There isn’t a real grown-up anywhere among them.
Thank God!
It is likely that if they don’t destroy themselves, the American people will do it for them next election cycle.
From messiah to lame duck in 8 months.
Fauxbama is on his way very likely to be the first person impeached and convicted in my lifetime.
Pelosi will be gone as speaker after 10 elections and Reid won’t even win re-election.
His actions in many areas are unconstitutional and his popular support is heading down to 30% range.
He’s a lame duck, and he doesn’t even know it. Its really sad watching someone who is copletely unable to handle a job, either by ability or work ethic, trying to do it. It would be comical if this wasn’t the Presidency we were talking about.
Crash and Burn you can believe in !!!
Sure you were.
That is a pretty bold statement.
I hope he’s right. Looks like things are going the direction he predicts after the August debacle for Zero. Poor guy didn’t even get a decent vacation. :-))
Copy That!
A really good and well thought out article!
Since they were talking about it in 2004, it is hard to imagine that someone didn’t predict it before the dems won in 2006.
What can we do to speed that time frame up to by the end of this week?
A neighbor of mine is a Democrat and State representative. He told me the other day that Democrat politicians have been grumbling amongst themselves that while they have been facing hostile crowds Obama is enjoying his vacation and is insulated from angry protesters
I imagine many of you can’t bring yourselves to look at liberal forums like Daily Kos, but you might find it interesting especially in the context of this article. I’ve noticed that they’ve been getting more shrill and frantic with each passing day.
If nothing else, it’s damn funny. The Depends folks must be doing a booming business in blue states.
The ONLY thing which could remove democrat party support from the communist/Fascist administration—since the DNC is now thoroughly a communist sympathizing org—is that Pelosi and Reid and the DNC suddenly wake up to the reality that this lying sonofabitch is destroying the democrat party brand and in 2010 will have the DNC stomped out of office.
'That is a pretty bold statement."
I don't know if he was or not but December 2006 was very early to make that prediction and I'm inclined to believe him until somebody can show where another "pundit" predicted the same thing.
He was the untouchable Messiah promise who ended up admiting that he could not reverse Bush’s faults.
ALl hopes are fading now, the world ends and Bush is going to be king for the next 1000 years.
sigh (sarc off)
From the Comments;
“Ahh, the daily feel-good headline for the right wing. No one said change was going to be pretty, folks. At the end of the day I think you’ll see more good come from the tough choices being made in the first couple of years of the Obama administration than we saw in the whole of the Bush years. You had your shot, now it’s ours. Deal with it.”
