School districts across Wisconsin are deciding whether students will watch a nationwide address directed at them from President Barack Obama.
The speech on the importance of education has raised concerns among some parents who view it as nothing more than political advertising within public schools.
Officials with both the Green Bay and Madison school districts say they've heard from a handful of parents with questions about whether the video will be shown next week. A spokesman for Republican state Rep. Steve Nass from Whitewater says their office has also fielded calls from concerned parents.
Madison schools is working on guidelines about how to handle the speech.
Green Bay intends to archive it and let teachers decide whether to show it later.

It is the PARENT’s responsibility to decide what their children watch or do not watch. The school needs to tell NObama to go pound sand.
School is for reading- writing- arithmetic.
Something that is sorely lacking in today’s “graduates”.
and what about Chicago?????
September 8 is National Keep Your Kids Home Day
Put up 0bama posters on every all with the message, Big Brother is Watching You. Have the children chant, Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama. Obama is Great! Obama is our Government! Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama!
Wouldn’t it be SWEET if people kept their kids home in HUGE numbers that day?
Terrible plan. Archive it and let students and parents decide whether a student watches it later. In no way allow a teacher to decide if and when to show it to his or her class.
Simple solution: Don't show it.
School is not for political indoctrination.
Period.

Government schools are, first and foremost, about indoctrination to becoming good liberal citizens.
Academics is a distant second priority.
Just ask the esteemed curriculum expert Bill Ayers.
The friend, advisor and fellow Chicago revolutionary of the Obama's makes this fact very clear, and is influencing the direction of the schools far beyond the Chicago area now that his Comrades are running the government.
We wanted the focus to be on kids, the First Lady said, because you can affect childrens behavior so much more easily than you can adults. — Michelle Obama taking about her vegetable garden.
She goes on to say that her kids, after learning certain things, then “monitor our behavior more so than I was monitoring them.”
So if you can affect children’s behavior so much more easily than you can that of adults, and if those children then influence their parents’ “behavior,” why not go directly into the classroom?

Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
