'Gay' man sues Bible publisher for 'mental anguish'

A homosexual man is suing a third national Bible publisher for "mental anguish" after he says the company published Bibles with a negative connotation toward homosexuals.

Bradley LaShawn Fowler of Canton, Mich., alleges William Tyndale Publishing manipulated Scripture when it published Tyndale’s New Living Translation Holy Bible and the New Life Application Study Bible by using the term "homosexuals" in a New Testament passage, 1 Corinthians 6:9.

"One Bible dictates homosexuals will not inherit the Kingdom of God, while the other is completely void on the issue altogether," Fowler wrote in a statement on his blog.

I think this man’s problem is not with The Bible’s publisher, but with its Author.

I’ve been thinking that sort of thing for a while.

They’re always out there with their banners and their parades and their “Gay Pride” crapola.

Not to mention the whole marriage issue seems to me more of an effort to MAKE the general public somehow agree with them that their “marriage” is legitimate.

It’s as if they are looking everywhere for approval to make up for being deeply ashamed or something.

My mom told me when I was little that one day Christians would be persecuted. I could never understand how that could happen living in the 70’s and 80’s as a child.

She is in heaven crying right now because she was absolutely right. And I’m sure she didn’t want to be.

Excuse me, but I am overweight by my own bad "lifestyle choices." Every time I turn around, the government funds a new medical study that says how I live my life is bad, and that I should be ashamed of myself for taking medical care from The System that could be used to treat real diseases people can't avoid (like AIDS, assumedly.) This causes me to feel badly about myself.

Clearly, I am due a bazillion dollars of someone else's money. Please keep in touch and let me know when it arrives and where I may pick it up.

Hey, douchbag: if you don’t like it, then don’t read it. Maybe I’ll start suing publishers of books I never read because their very EXISTENCE causes me mental anguish. These people are FACISTS at heart who will try to silence any viewpoint they don’t agree with.

Anyone can sue anybody for almost anything. All you have to do is to go to your local court and take out the papers and pay the filing fee. The rubber hits the road when it gets to the docket of the court. Any court that does not throw this out on 'Prima facie' grounds is failing its responsibilities.

Def: Prima facie- It is used in modern legal English to signify that on first examination, a matter appears to be self-evident from the facts.
In most legal proceedings, one party has a burden of proof, which requires them to present prima facie evidence for all the essential facts in its case. If they cannot, their claim may be dismissed without any need for a response by other parties.

Thus in a civil suit, this twit as the plaintiff would have to present evidence of how Tyndale is harming him. This is a reason why our court systems have a backlog of years, idiots like this want 'their day in court'!

Let your heart rest easy, your Mom is not crying in heaven, except for tears of joy. She is in the presence of her savior fall all eternity. All tears and pain have been wiped away. It is wise, though, to mark her prophetic words. The Bible says the persecution is real and your mother knew that to be true.

I look forward to meeting your mom (and you) someday in heaven!

If the bible causes anguish then don’t read it! If the presence of the book causes anguish then the dude has a real problem

The particular passage in the KJV is

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,”

Seems pretty clear to me that includes homosexuals. Maybe this guy better sue King James.
