Well, just another example of what Bill O’Reilly said the other night about why liberals and independents are also turning away from the MSM and tuning into Fox in droves, namely, Fox is almost the only major news outlet that actually tells us on what is really going on in the world. Bill’s claim that the Fox news channel is the most potent force in news broadcasting right now is no exaggeration.
The MSM presents such a false, fantasy world view, even liberals have to tune into Fox now if they want to get some idea of actual important world events.
Just think about how strange the world must look if ABC, CBS, and NBC were your only news sources. How puzzling it must be when Van Jones seems to resign all of a sudden out of thin air for no reason at all. How, ACORN suddenly loses their Census Bureau contract for no apparent reason at all. How strange that the massive Democratic majority in Congress can’t get their agenda passed due to a tiny minority of opposition. And just wait until the incomprehensibly stunning news of the election results in 2010 come pouring in! How in the world could such a thing happen? The world just seems to be so incomprehensible. Sort of like all of those battles the Germans were told they won in WWII up until the moment Germany unconditionally surrendered for some unknown reason.
And I suspect as actual events continue to spin wildly away from what the MSM promotes and wishes, the MSM is just going to paint on heavier and heavier layers of rose colored paint and more and more Unicorn and rainbow decals onto their worldview until pretty soon their lights are going to dim out all together. In the mean time, Fox and the Internet will continue to glow brighter and brighter. It’s fairly evident that the time is upon us for the MSM to self-destruct and vanish forever. And, of course, this is a very good thing! Like Bernie Goldberg commented about the ongoing collapse of the MSM to Bill O’Reilly the other night, “It’s actually really fun to watch!”
Pretty soon it will come time to just ignore the MSM completely on the Conservative side. They ignored Van Jones, they ignored today’s Tea Party and undercounted the crowds. There is no longer any question they are in the tank, they are simply not credible.
But it's not, at least not to ABCNNBCBS. At least, not until they can spin it properly.
