On Sept. 12, a large crowd gathered in Washington to protest ... what? The goals of Congress and the Obama Administration, mainly — the cost, the scale, the perceived leftist intent. The crowd's agenda was wide-ranging, so it's hard to be more specific. "End the Fed," a sign read. A schoolboy's placard denounced "Obama's Nazi Youth Militia." Another poster declared, "We the People for Capitalism Not Socialism." If you get your information from liberal sources, the crowd numbered about 70,000, many of them greedy racists. If you get your information from conservative sources, the crowd was hundreds of thousands strong, perhaps as many as a million, and the tenor was peaceful and patriotic. Either way, you may not be inclined to believe what we say about numbers, according to a recent poll that found record-low levels of public trust of the mainstream media.
At any rate, what we can say with confidence is that Deanna Frankowski was there. A cheery woman of 49 from Leeds, Ala., Frankowski said she had come to Washington as part of a group of 100 or more protesters. They filled two buses. And they were motivated by a concern about runaway government spending — that, plus an outraged feeling that their views as citizens are not being heard. "We are sick and tired of being ignored," she said. "There is too much money being spent."

Yes....Glenn is Mad.....he’s mad as hell at the direction our country is heading and he is the only one in the media that is coming out with facts for us to consider. All he does is lay out the facts as to how our country is being controlled. It’s up to everyone else to figure out what they want to do about it.

Beck seems to be pretty effective at getting people to pay attention which leads to results.

I seem to recall Woodward and Bernstein being lionized in my youth for hard-hitting investigating of the President. I guess now that the Messiah is in office, the only legitimate role for journalists is propagandize on behalf of their beloved leader.
Typical Time hit piece - anyone disturbed by this administration is paranoid. Glenn Beck the heavy. Too bad they don’t apply this same wisdom to bammy and his Black Caucus brown shirts. Did Time break the ACORN story - or did I miss something. Nothing worse than a news source scorned. You would think the business types at Time would see an opportunity to gain readership after watching the August townhall dust ups and the 9/12 march. These are people looking for a media vehicle. I guess Time would prefer bankruptcy as a true socialist than success as a capitalist.
ACORN is bad for American...Glenn Beck is bringing that down (thank God!).
I expect the list is going to get significantly longer.

And, BTW, the numbers at the 912 event in Washington DC speak for themselves. Anyone looking at the photos knows that there were at least hundreds of thosuands, and probably a million or more...and that too, was good for America.

If I am home at 1700 hrs., Glenn Beck is on the TV. He is the only news commentator that speaks my mind.
This morning on the CBS morning show, Maggie Rodriguez just could not discuss any of this without playing the race card. She insisted the poster with Obama looking like the joker was racist...because it was ‘white face’. According to these media pukes we are ALL racists, they can distort anything!
The libs hounded Nixon right out of office. Maybe he deserved it but I would bet my last nickel they would have given a Democrat a pass on much of what he was accused of.
I wasn’t really aware of politics in those days but I will never forget how the news day after day was filled with the drumbeat until he finally made the famous “goodbye” speech
