Will Obama be allowed to run for a second term without addressing the birth certificate issue?

My feeling is that we can ensure that Obama is a one-term president using the birth issue.

Is this a delusion on my part?

Some state is bound to enact a law requiring proof of NBC. One state is all it takes for him to decide he needs to spend more time with his family.

Let’s get the boy marxist out of office beforehand so we don’t have to find out.

If we can get Texas, Florida and Georgia to implement the proof of NBC, then it will be a sure thing.

I thought Oklahoma passed a law requiring a birth certificate. I hope so.

Also, I hope other states do the same thing.

Anyone who knows, please post.

Yes, you’re delusional. Of all the things (including betraying our allies) that can used against the fraud in chief, the stupid birth certificate is the most laughable. Get off this.

Fine with me, but in case we don't it might help to have a contingency plan.

If even one state enacts, he’s scuttled right there. He would either have to provide the BC or not run there.

Silly rabbit. Of course he will. The real issue is if the Republicans can take back the house and senate before then.

At this point, all the States have accepted this and/or the provided COLB de facto and it hasn't been demonstrated legally yet that either the COLB is fake or he doesn't meet NBC requirements. It will take a legal victory by the accusers (who holds the burden of proof) that something with either is not Kosher with either. Speculation will only get you so far in this.

You are not delusional. If enough states tighten up their eligibility laws, Zippy will have a real problem in 2012, assuming that free elections will still be allowed by then.

He’ll have to put up or shut up. Shut up and get lost.

The law ought to specify a certified copy of the long form. Fixed!

Texas can’t do it for another 2 years, without a Special Session.

I don’t know about Florida or Georgia, but I think their Legislatures met year round. So there it would be doable.

I wonder, if the Congress not any federal agency, or national political party or state agency or court of competent jurisdiction fells inclined to decline checking ... how many Legislatures want to become embroiled in this one.

Orly has a sworn affidavit from the guy who has the “kenyan” BC. That is more than anything Obama has offered to any authority, including the court.

I guarantee 2 things:

1. No one is going to want to act like they take the birther stuff seriously. So nobody who matters will push for it.

2. Any state that enacts laws regarding a birth certificate will accept the one on file in Hawaii that was said to be official by the Hawaii authorities.

There is & will continue to be PLENTY of reasons to ensure Obama’s a one-termer without resorting to this, so far, completely ineffectual issue.
