Old wise warrior Sun Tzu once said, turn your opponents tactics against them ...
actually Saul did manage to breed....he had a son who is a producer for PBS (big surprise there!!)
Uh Kevin, L. David Alinsky is the son of. I hope the rest of your article rings true.
Give him a Darwin Award!
Alinsky’s rules, in particular number 12, have been used effectively on ACORN and Van Jones. Now they are being turned on Obama and the rest of his socialist, anti-American appointees.
Before his death? Well...Duh! How could he write it after his death?
Coach, I gave a speech to the college Republicans last week. I asked how many had read “Rules for Radicals.” Not one hand out of, say, 20 people. I asked who had HEARD of it. Not one.
So we have a LOT of work to do.
We need to turn Alinsky’s rules on them....and we need to clean our own house of the treacherous RINO interlopers...all too willing to stab Conservatives in the back yet bend over invitingly to those who would doom this nation to a socialist quagmire...
Nice post. Thanks.
Alinsky is an ass and very easy to beat because he assumes the enemy never fights back.
For every move there is a countermove, and walking in with a predetermined set of rules dooms you from the start if your enemy does indeed fight back.
Obama may not be his natural born offspring but he comes pretty close in his behavior patterns.
We will not go quietly into the night.
America does not fall on our watch. Not our watch.
The following is a list of Alinskys rules for upheaval, (see article for entire list):
RULE 1: Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.
RULE 4: Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.
RULE 5: Ridicule is mans most potent weapon.
RULE 8: Keep the pressure on. Never let up.
RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
Of these, Rules 4, 5, 8, and 12 have been used to greatest effect by the Left.
If your opponent [has a hot temper], seek to irritate him. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. Attack him where he is unprepared; appear where you are not expected. (Book I, Verses 22-24)
Barack Obama taught a class on using Alinsky principles to keep the nation in chaos. After all, its easier to get radical policies enacted during a crisis.
