WASHINGTON — Senate Finance Committee Democrats have rejected a GOP amendment that would have required a health overhaul bill to be available online for 72 hours before the committee votes.

Republicans argued that transparency is an Obama administration goal. They also noted that their constituents are demanding that they read bills before voting.

Democrats said it was a delay tactic that could have postponed a vote for weeks.

They are in a big assed hurry to get the commie bill cramed down our throats because the Dictator Hussein is going to slide down and down in the polls.

They need to be made to pay.

The Democrats noted that unlike other committees, the Finance Committee works off conceptual language that describes policies — instead of legislative language that ultimately becomes law, and which the GOP amendment would have required.

Democrats accepted an alternate amendment to make conceptual language available online before a vote.

What does this mean? Who translates the “conceptual language” into an actual bill? And will the actual bill be available to read before the final vote?

Democrats said it was a delay tactic that could have postponed a vote for weeks.

An amendment to require it to be online for 72 hours before the vote would only delay the vote for weeks if they plan to hold the vote BEFORE the bill is completely written.

That's what they intend to do, of course.

"Senate Finance Committee Democrats have rejected a GOP amendment that would have required a health overhaul bill to be available online for 72 hours before the committee votes."

There needs to be a BIGGER tea party outside the senate building, and they have to stay there until this bill is made public, and the public has a good MONTH or more to look this bill over.

Then these senators need to be told in no uncertain terms that they WILL listen to the people they are supposed to be working for, listening to, and representing, And scrap this bill if they are told to.

These senators have to agree to this or this tea party will last a very long time, and they won't be going home to their mansons.

It is very transparent that the Democrats want to shove another 1,000 page bill down our throats before anyone has a chance to read it.

We need to take control of this country back, and we can’t do it without putting an effort into it.

After forcing the senate to acknowlage that they work for US, the Tea party needs to move to the airport, and shut it down until Obama either steps down, or suspends all activities until he answers to a judicial inquiry dealing with his illegal acts and treason, plus hisd refusal to produce his birth certificate.

Good question. Where did that come from? Can we verify if this is the bill?
