Friday afternoon was supposed to be a big day for Americas Muslims. For months they planned to rally in Washington before their big day.
They would meet on the lawn in front of the Capitol building. Naturally the media took dictation from the organizers and dutifully reported It was estimated that the nations capital hosted some 50,000 Muslims for a traditional Friday prayer ritual.
Our time has come.
Organizers billed it as a gathering of moderate Muslims coming together for a Day of Islamic Unity to inspire a new generation of Muslims. The said our time has come.
So how many Muslims flooded into Washington to revel in their time?
Heres a few quotes lifted from various sources:
Nearly 3000 people gathered..
only about 1,000 people showed up for the event.
Thousands of Muslims gathered ( Fuzzy language an old media trick)
Why the small turn out?
In the artificial world the American media lives in no minority group of any kind is ever responsible for anything negative that happens to it.
When a minority group suffers an embarrassing episode like this the media will always find a way to blame White Christian conservative men and women for the catastrophe.
Consider these excerpts from media reports about this flop:
The service comes as the Muslim community has been rocked by verbal attacks from conservative Christians that have grown stronger since the election of President Obama..
Some people were frightened off by the conservative Christian attacks, said Hassen Abdellah, president of Dar-ul-Islam.
Nonetheless, organizers said they were happy with the turnout. Ill bet they were. In response to faint shouts of Repent! from Christians, Imam Abdul Malik of New York thundered. Stop being so scared. You aint done nothing wrong. Just do the work of Allah, and believe. Now really.

I took my kids to Busch Gardens where we saw a Moslem family. Maybe they prayed when they rode the Griffon!
You’ve made my week! The people who have been terrorizing the world are SCARED? GOOD! Very good. They ahould be afraid-very afraid.
Evil always fears the day of reckoning.
Allah said: Not Interested
Maybe the fact it was pouring down rain had something to do with it—ya think??
Why didn’t Allah stop the rain or give all the Islamofascists umbrellas?
Jesus was on the job Friday and granted Allah a fowl day with very few rays of hope .
They are not stupid people.
They will wait for another opportunity to rejoice in the domination of America.
I wonder if the discovery of four home-grown jihadist plots last week might have cut down on the attendance.
>>Why didnt Allah stop the rain or give all the Islamofascists umbrellas?<<
The Bible is full of instancew where God performed miracles to help His people. Catholicism is replete with the stories of martyrs and saints and the miracles God had them perform.
Allah’s message to Mohammedans - Kill everybody who doesn’t do as I say. No miracles; no wonders, just murder and mayhem. Maybe he couldn’t be bothered with stopping the rain - or incapable of doing it.
I’ll chip in to buy some fuel for these planes.
Afraid of Christains? Hate America?
Then get your sorry *sses - er Obamas - back to the middle east.
Now.
Oh, and take our sorry *ssed president with you.
Right. Like Christians go around attacking people of other religions. This statement is absurd.
Yeah, I find a religion that teaches its adherants to “love your enemies” to be really scary.
Judging from the results - that's all the 'moderate Muslims' there are & they were there!!
The rest of them do not fit in that category.
In light of the terrorist arrests last week, many probably decided it wasn’t very wise to show up. The ones that did “have no shame”.
Not to mention that we really don’t know why they had to pray in DC for the “souls of Americans”.
It looked like more than 3,000 from the pictures I saw, but hey, no 100,000 like they hoped. Tee hee. Prayers probably helped a lot to KEEP these guys from praying.
Yeeee hawwwwwww!!!!
