Sneaky White House Survey on FaceBook(Vanity, My title)
Facebook ^ | 9-27-09 | self

Posted on 09/27/2009 7:16:09 PM PDT by CitizenM

FReepers...now here's the twist to the former "report suspicious emails to the White House" email addy of a few months ago. We all knew they would come up with another way to get email addresses of those who oppose anything this administration does or wants to do.

On FaceBook, in the right sidebar, there sometimes appears an ad, actually a survey question that states "You are against Obama care, please take a minute to respond to our survey." So, I clicked on the ad. It showed a picture of a very stern nurse, with her arms folded, and the caption said it was sponsored by the National Survey Review

There were two blocks - "For" and "Against." But, guess what??? If you clicked on either one, you had to insert your EMAIL ADDRESS to continue with the survey, with a promise that you would be awarded some prize (coupons or something).

These types of ads are typical for winning prizes...but you know who the recipient of the email addresses will be in this particular one. I just bet it is sneaky Administration tactics at work again. Someone should look into this and see just where this National Survey Review is and who they are. I bet their office is in some room in the White House.

Do you think this has to do with the NEA??? ‘Facebook’ and other ‘outlets’ were mentioned in the ‘clandestine meeting’.

Nahh.

My bet is on the Apollo Alliance, ACORN, SEIU, or one of their hundreds of RICO-ready offshoots...

I dont think that’s white house crap. Thats facebook’s abysmal ad serving of spammy ads. That sounds like a contradiction i know but these ads are just trying to get you to sign up for a crap load of spammy email lists.

Nothing to see here. It’s nothing more than garden variety collecting of good email addresses by spammers. I don’t answer anything that wants an email address on FB. They got you interested and got you to click. You just didn’t enter your email address. Hundreds, likely thousands will and they will start getting spam for lower car insurance rates, viagra and other such stuff.

I can’t imagine actually clicking on any of those links (you must enjoy living dangerously!) but any time anyone asks for an email address and you don’t want to give them yours, just put in “flag@whitehouse.gov“...

CORRECTION: THE ACTUAL NAME OF THE GROUP IS: THE NATIONAL SURVEY PANEL

The ad finally appeared again. Here is the direct link to the site so we can fill in email addys of Dem politicians, etc. National Survey Panel Obama Health Care Poll

And, no, LOL, I do not click on most of these ads on FaceBook. I know they are just for spam. But I was interested to see what this asked, and how they asked it. Luckily I think I spotted another way this administration is collecting email addresses; even though they claim to have stopped that. LOL. Busted!

I don’t answer any stuff either; but you would be how many people do because of the way they are designed. Everyone wants to feel special.
