U.S. blasts ousted Honduran for "foolish" return
Reuters ^ | Sept. 28, 2009

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States blasted ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya for his "irresponsible and foolish" return from exile before a settlement was reached in the Central American country's political crisis.

At an emergency meeting of the Organization of American States to discuss the Honduran face-off, Lewis Anselem, the U.S. ambassador to the OAS, also criticized Honduras' de facto government for its "deplorable" action in barring entry of an OAS mission and declaring a state of siege on Sunday.

Anselem also criticized Zelaya for fueling violence by slipping back into Honduras last week and holing up in the Brazilian Embassy, from where he has called on his supporters to take to the streets.

"The return of Zelaya absent an agreement is irresponsible and foolish ... He should cease and desist from making wild allegations and from acting as though he were starring in an old movie," Anselm said.

"The return of Zelaya absent an agreement is irresponsible and foolish ... "

The State Department representative is correct; Mr. Zelaya is attempting to interfere with the elections that are only eight weeks away.

this was the out Hillary needed to claim that he was irresponsible and sneak a change in position since the Library of Congress slapped her back into reality with their report on what actually happened here in Honduras.

"He should cease and desist from making wild allegations ..." Anselm said.

Hey, Anselm! man in the mirror. And remember, that's your clown. WTF are you idiots in Washington doing opposing democracy and supporting dictator wanna-be's? Look forward to the next administration going through your actions with a special prosecutor.

From the article:

“The return of Zelaya absent an agreement is irresponsible and foolish ... He should cease and desist from making wild allegations and from acting as though he were starring in an old movie,” Anselm said.

Anselem urged the de facto government to handle security with “restraint and caution” and called on Zelaya to “exercise leadership” and urge his supporters to express their views peacefully.
++++++++++++++

Wow, now bammy’s admin wants them to be ‘peaceful’ after this joker went back into the country and started to agitate. Wait, I thought he was legit and you’re calling on him to be ‘peaceful?’

Come on bammy, your little flip flopping and your little socialist friend like Zelaya and Chavez STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN.

So it’s “deplorable” that Honduras shut out the OAS representative but it’s oki-doki that we revoked the visas of Honduran diplomats....
+++++++++++++++++

Right. And it’s also ‘oki-doki’ that the US is meddling with the Hondurans ability to defend their OWN CONSTITUTION. Of course we know what bammy thinks of and does to the US Constitution...so perhaps we here on this board are not shocked..

""......the soon-to-be-recalled ambassador......."

Never fear....the Obama-appointed ambassador would't blow his nose without the One's explicit knowledge and permission. Nor would Hillary, who works for Obama in a master/dog relationship and who sold what's left of her dark soul to stay in the limelight for a run against Himself later.

The ambassador will NOT be recalled, although he may be thrown under the bus later after things calm down in Honduras.

I hear a new Obamabus is on order because there are so many bodies under the current one that the Department of Streets and Sanitation has ordered it towed away as a pernicious health hazard.

Huh? Did ostammer switch sides in the middle of the night? Or did he figure out that he’s on the wrong side of this, that it’s harming him politically, and therefore decided to use the whole Brazilian embassy thing as cover to explain the switch?

Wasn’t good neo-Marxism.

Too confrontational-from-weakness, for Soros, Gorbachev, Obama, Pelosi, etc.

BTW...

Back in the Contras day “The Goose” was the HQ for all kinds of intrigue. Honduras was a wonderful ally of our country. Too bad for them they served a Republican president (Reagan). Obama is now viciously exacting revenge and pay-back on all such countries (e.g. Poland, UK, Israel, Georgia, etc)

First, the State Department Legal Office knew damned well that the steps taken to oust Zalaya were legal. Second, the US Embassy in Tegucigalpa reported that the move was legal, and when it reported that Zelaya’s return could spark a civil war which would then be blamed on the United States, Obama and his minions got cold feet. Now Hillary is trying to extract the State Department from a very sticky situation.
