The Sullied Savior Blames Bush
The American Thinker ^ | October 03, 2009 | Jeannie DeAngelis

Posted on 10/03/2009 3:18:56 AM PDT by Scanian

In May of 2008, Times Online ran an article entitled, Barack Obama: the New Great Redeemer. The author, Gerard Baker, recognized something many American voters at that time were unwilling to admit, which was,

The idolatry of Mr. Obama is a shame...The Illinois senator is indeed, an unusually talented, inspiring and charismatic figure...But he is not a saint. He is a smart and eloquent man with a personal history that is startlingly shallow set against the scale of the office he seeks to hold... If the past 40 years have taught us anything they have surely taught that premature canonization is an almost certain guarantee of subsequent deep disappointment.

Nine months later, Americans are finding their savior has feet of clay. Foible after foible, Obama is proving to be unable to fulfill his own messianic expectations. Even more disturbing is Obama's "startlingly shallow" unwillingness to man up to his policy failures or decline to comment when presented with an opportunity to blame George W. Bush. Thus, the eloquent gift that catapulted Obama to stratospheric heights of power is fast becoming a political liability exposing him as both an unprincipled person and leader.

I think not. The guy has always been crude, unable to clear articulate a message, and has shown absolutely no accomplishments for his life. It seems to me that people have buyer's remorse and need to justify their poor choice.

To me, it looks like he’s brought in a cadre of radical leftists to implement his extreme agenda while he and Chewbacca personally globetrot and galavant around the country to speechify and mug for the cameras.

“The Illinois senator is indeed, an unusually talented, inspiring and charismatic figure”

I never understood this cult like adoration for
Obama’s skill.
Without his puppet masters and teleprompter, he seems to be nothing.
I see that his Olympic pitch also required the magic teleprompter.
To me, the Illinois senator is just another empty suit.

Wait until Blacks start saying Obama is white, or not an American.

Obama better stay away from any bus routes from now on, I don't care who he's dragging to the curb. He should just hole up this winter with a pile of DVD’s, a fluffy comforter, hot chocolate, Chrissy Matthews and a box of condoms.

He’s a puppet that can barely speak out a thought longer than three words. His handlers must have a real and deep hatred for this country to believe that ALL of us can be fooled by this clown.

I think that's going to be the definitive sign that he has lost it, and I think it may happen. I bet there are blacks out there who don't want him tarnishing their collective name and are clear that he is NOT "African American," in the sense that phrase is meant to be used, and in fact has virtually no connection with America (where most black families can boast hundreds of years of ancestry).

That’s pretty much what Rev. James Manning says about him.

Manning seems to be ahead of the curve of black opinion, according to your suggestion.

Is he eloquent when he has these things? Can a man be eloquent when the sound of his voice makes your skin crawl?

0bama is right you know. Under the cloak of darkness, W flew from Dallas to Copenhagen to personally tell the IOC that Chicago is a third world, crime ridden dump of a city and that it must be avoided at all costs.

I’ve heard in talk show interviews already: He has no slave ancestry. He was “raised white.” He’s not originally from the street and had to be tought the ropes in the ghetto. Etc. etc.

The race hustlers and poverty pimps therefore already have a fallback position to adopt when Zer0 flops completely.

Wait until Blacks start saying Obama is white, or not an American.

Realistically speaking, that isn't going to matter. 0bama, just like any other Democrat, will still get 90% or more of the black vote.

Yesterday it was reported that Harry Reid was begging O to get involved in the health care bill.

O’s answer. Oh, you’ll all get it figured out.

Unwilling to involve himself in his own agenda. Those who voted for him knowing his penchant for voting ‘present’ are now getting that treatment squared.

If it’s not fun and games, he’s not available. And we saw how well the games part worked out for him.

There’s something with a conservative brain: we’re less likely to be wooed by a politician who talks long and says little.

Well America, don’t say we didna warn ye.

I think the poverty pimps and race hustlers will be the last ones to bail on him. They have put all their eggs in this particular basket, and as long as they can scream racism when there is any criticism of him (and hence, of them), they’re not going to let that go.

I think it’s average black Americans who are going to bail on him first. Soon he’ll have what amounts to nothing more than the “congregation” of any race hustling preacher in a ghetto store-front church: a few dumb, gullible old ladies and a bunch of ward-heeler politicians.

Barry O. has policy failures? Please! He has not staked out a position on anything, except getting the Olympics in Chicago because America has been bad in the past and it would make Michelle feel good for her father.

He is not going to view himself as making a mistake or failure since he never had a goal, save becoming president and that will be his only legacy.

But, he is a failure and will be a serious joke, world wide, in only 1 more year.

But, he and Michelle can continue with Barry’s sitcom, world junkets and her prancing around with a scowl on her face and some really poor choices in clothing.

Right now Obama is the head poverty pimp/hustler. However, and it is a gamble, who ever gets out in front of him, will be the big dog standing, and have a big edge on other pimps.

As Clausewitz said, “Pimps abhor a vacuum.”

Start watching for Obama’s BBF( Best Black Friend ) Jessey Jackson to slither out from under a rock. Look for attacks on near Obama targets, like white guys close to him by Jackson/Sharpton.

Barry is like that guy you always see around the periphery of fights, he eggs on from the sidelines...similar to a drive by shooting except substitute the word leadership for shooting.
